Is there a way to plug an external diapol antenna where the rubber duck antenna plugs in. Would it overload to much?

Not sure how you'd hook up a dipole to this radio, but you can definitely use a long wire. The way I did it was using a wire and a electrical ring terminal. Make sure to find a ring terminal with a hole that will fit the threaded part of the PR-D6 antenna. Crimp and/or solder the wire to the ring terminal. Once that is done, put the threaded part of the antenna through the hole in the ring terminal, and then screw the antenna into the radio. After that you can run the long wire anywhere you want.

does it tell you what type of converter to buy instead of batteryies/

me ha encantado

la calidad de materiales es buena, y la sintonizacion de estaciones es eficiente, aunque debido a que solo cuenta con capacidad para baterías AA, se descargan mas rápidamente, comparado con una radio de baterías D. es el único inconveniente encontrado por mi.

Decepción total...!!!

Estoy decepcionado de este radio, tiene muy mala calidad de audio... Anteriormente ya he comprado cuatro radios Sangean de modelos distintos, con una calidad impresionante... Cuando vi este radio me gustó también, y lo ordené, pero cuando lo recibí: Oh desepción..!!! Una mala recepción, mala selectividad, y un sonido que deja mucho que desear, sin contar que llegó incompleto, no traía la antena, ni la correa transportadora... Lo tuve en mis manos solo media hora y de inmediato lo devolví... Me asombro que Sangean, una marca que solo tiene artículos de calidad probada, tenga para venta un producto con estos estándares de calidad tan bajo... No lo recomiendo si eres un aficionado a la radio y te gusta la calidad de sonido...
