My nail beds are relatively long, but narrow. I usually have to use the smallest press-ons on a drugstore kit, for reference. These run small.. I was amazed that my thumb size is actually the largest one in this set. That's never ever been my experience! It's not a direct comparison to press-ons, because these are not meant for that.. They're dual forms, and they should be sized so that they fully and evenly cover the entire nail - it's normally better to go too large than too small when choosing the sizes for your nails. So, keep that in mind. If you have pretty small nails, and find that drug store press-ons are always too big for you, then this set may work out just fine.
