Players take turns matching a card in their hand with the current card shown on top of the deck either by color or number. For anyone who enjoys the game and is looking for a new deck, this one does the trick without some of the newer cards. This has the classic cards. The game pretty much always comes out with friends over, great replay value, fun from 2-8 players. Also very easy to come up with drinking rules to make this an interesting party game.. taking a drink every time someone gets skipped or has to draw a card from the pile, you get the idea.

(note though, not identical to the 70s version, but close. 80%, id say). is it possible to be gay for a card deck? i know im crazy, but i really love this. id recommend this!! easy to recognize for someone who usually plays with modern uno decks.

**Q: The reviews contradict each other.  i need an answer:  is the retro deck the same size and same weight of card as the original mattel playing cards?**
A: I don't know how durable the original was.These are flimsy.  They do not compare (in durability) to a commercial deck of playing cards.If they got wet they would not wipe dry undamaged. (NOT Plasticized)If you try to shuffle them they will crease.Grandchildren and I spread them over the table face down and mix them around.Also, the box is another fail.  I'd expect one deck of cards to be one stack of cards in a box that fits them.  Not so.If you halve the deck, it'll fit, side by side, in the box. An unreasonable expectation for four year old 'Bella.

A: I would say it is a regular size card. It’s not small. Same size as a regular deck of uno.

**Q: Does this include a holding case? If not where would I get one?**
A: The UNO Card Game - Retro Edition does not include a holding case.

**Q: is UNO in spanish language?**
A: this edition is not in spanish. there are editions that are in spanish though.

Favorite version of the game. Love the retro style and color shades. For anyone who enjoys the game and is looking for a new deck, this one does the trick without some of the newer cards. This has the classic cards. The game pretty much always comes out with friends over, great replay value, fun from 2-8 players. I had brought some UNO cards a couple of months ago and was disappointed that the cards were totally different than what I grew up with. So I search high and low and was so happy to find them on Amazon. These cards actually have the words written on them (Skip, Reverse, Draw Two). Me and my eight year old play all the time.
