A nice unit! It is very usable for auto and home projects. I wish the leads were a bit longer though.

Certainly worth the price. I got this when a YouTuber I subscribe to mentioned it as a solid inexpensive meter to have handy. I agree. The only issue I had was that when I received it the leads were bad, both of them. I verified the meter was fine by using a paper clip to short the jacks together with the meter set to the continuity function. I'm not sure how two leads can have an open in them, but they did. I mentioned it to the seller when they sent me an email asking how I liked the product and they sent me replacement leads which worked fine. The only other issue I have noticed so far is the beep for the continuity tester is a little quiet, if you an in an area that is even a little noisy, you likely won't hear it at all. Other than that so far it has been a great little meter. I am considering getting a couple more just so I can have them handy where ever I am.

This is a reasonable general multimeter that is much better built than the M830B clones. Specifications can be found at the Mastech webpage, thus I raise below a few practical usage details and aspects: - It is a safe meter for use in low voltage. - The meter claims CAT II 600V but it does not have independent verification by a compliance agency. - It uses ceramic fuses on its current inputs, but its protection is comprised only by a single PTC. This does not look safe for high voltage use, despite its claims of CAT II 600V. - It is well built internally but my meter came with an extra metallic contact completely loose inside. This evidences issues with quality control. - It has a rubber boot that helps protect the meter, but it is stiff to remove if it is needed to replace batteries and fuses. - The boot also has a stand that keeps the meter in a good angle. - The input jacks are 4mm diameter but its jacks are more shallow when compared to the standard jacks used by the standard multimeters. - The hold button only freezes the information - it is not a peak hold function - The backlight is a very nice bright white LED, but it only lasts for 8 seconds. - It has a buzzer with decent volume level. All in all, it is a great second multimeter for the low voltage applications to have around.

I didn't get around to using the tester for months after it arrived. My mistake. It was totally dead. Instructions were in Korean? and there was no obvious way to open it up to see if a battery could be replaced. Seller declined to honor the 1-year guarantee. What should I expect for a cheap item. They suggested I take it to a local repair shop for repair. At their insistence, I sent them a video of it not working. No response since then.

This is a nice inexpensive meter for home or school projects. I used this in a High School class and it was prefect for the use. After a few days the continuity test buzzer sounded all the time. But at the price, I wasn't worried about the kids breaking it which made if perfect for training students.

Pretty nice little meter for the odd jobs around the house and the car. For the price it is a bargain. One fault is that the continuity test function will at first appear not to work. But it actually works fine AFTER you tweak it by making a couple of pinholes through the casing right above the "buzzer". For some reason mine did not have a way for the sound of the buzzer to make it out of the case causing me to think is was not working.

Works perfectly fine for what i needed. Would purchase again. Shipping was on time. 5 Stars!!!

Good little portable multimeter that's very easy to use. Used a couple of times and has been very helpful.

背面の樹脂カバーが破損しており、開閉すると外れる。 つくりが弱く、精度に疑問しかない。 返品リクエストを送りました。

正直なところ私はマルチテスターの使い道が良くわかっていないのですが、 乾電池容量チェックや導通テストも可能と聞いたので、 購入時は今よりも安く、乾電池チェッカーより安い事もあり購入しました 結局2年半経った今もこの2点でしか利用していませんが、 同じ期待をしているかたがいるかもしれないので使い方を書いておきます ＊乾電池チェッカーとして使う場合＊ 「直流(DC)電圧測定 Ｖ」を使います。ダイヤルOFFの左側にあります どの数字に合わせるかですが、1.5Vの電池なら「２」、 3Vや6Vの電池なら「２０」というように、 計測する電池の電圧より大きい数字の中で、 一番小さい数を選択します 通常の単１～５の電池は1.5V、充電池なら1.2Vなので、 ほとんどの電池はダイヤルを「２」に合わせて使う事になります コイン電池なら普通3Vだと思うので「２０」になります ダイヤルを合わせたら、 テストリードの赤を電池のプラス側、黒をマイナス側に当てます 単3アルカリ電池をチェックした場合、 未使用であれば1.6V辺りが表示され、 容量が減ると当然表示される電圧も減っていきます 0.5V辺りになったらもうほとんど使えないってことです うろ覚えですが、ライトなら１Ｖを切った辺りで使えなくなり、 時計ならその電池でもまだまだ使えたりと、機器によって変わるので、 どの程度の数字になったら捨てるかは、経験で学びます 機器を動かせなくなった電池をチェックし、 その数字を自分で覚えるなりメモしておくしかないです しかし一度覚えてしまえば通常の電池チェッカーより正確に計れます 安物なので精度が悪いようですが、この様に電池の容量を調べる程度であれば、 多少の誤差があっても全く問題ないです ＊導通テストする場合＊ コードが断線していないかどうか調べる事ができます ダイヤルを180度近く回転させ、 下の方の黄色い場所でブザーマークの描いてある項目に合わせます （現在掲載されている写真だと黄色ですが、私が買った製品は赤色でした） 調べる場所の両側にテストリードの先端を接地します 通電していれば、ブザーが鳴り、 液晶の数字にも変化が出ます（数字の内容は私にはわかりません） 何の変化もなければ電気の流れが遮断されていて、 コードならどこかで断線している状態です 皆さんのレビューを見ると、 値段が値段なので精度には元々期待していなかったものの、 最初から不具合が出たり早期に壊れてしまったりしている様ですが、 その点に関しては私は当たりを引いた様で、 購入後2年半経った今も電池交換も要らずに健全に稼動しております この為満点評価としておきます

小型な割には、欲しい機能が備わり、使用感も良いです。
