Review: Installed on a tao tao dbx1. You need an adjustable mounting point manifold as the intake manifold that comes with it angles the carb to hit the frame if this specific bike. The gasket it comes with doesn't match, so be prepared to use high temp rtv or find the correct fitting gasket. The black plastic heat spacer is also smaller than the 26mm opening of the carb/manifold so if that bothers you, get a different one, but it still works as it should. Now that the cons are out of the way, it completely woke the bike up! You will have to spend time tuning it to operate correctly, but once it's tuned it's great. Definitely worth the money. Pair it with a upgraded ignition system and cdi like I did and it's amazing!

**Q: I installed this on my 125 coolster and at dead stop full throttle it dies out sometimes . Does anyone know why?**
A: Your fuel mixture is way to rich this carb needs serious tuning out of the box to operate correctly this is not a real minkuni carb as advertised it is a knock off just slightly better than the jink your probably removed. To solve this problem follow these 
steps.  Step1) remove your spark plug after warm up and 10 min run time if it is black at all continue to step 2) order a jet kit ranging from 80-115 step 3) remove the carb and bowl to access the main jet it will more than likely be a 115. Step 4) remove and replace main jet with a progressively smaller jet repeating steps 1,3,4 until you have no carbon on your spark plug ( either completely clean your plug each time or buy a pack to change them always start with a clean plug per jet change) step 5) once your plug is now running clean adjust your needle drop by moving your clip up or down on the notches to get a clean throttle response with no gasp or over rev ( to lean and rpm will seem to last after throttle release to rich it will gasp like it's taking a deep breath before rpm rise ) watch your plug closely during needle adjustment to lean will kill your engine. 6) turn your idle screw in until you reach a high idle and note the position now turn your needle out until the engine acts like it wants to die about halfway in between is where you want your idle to sit 7)have fun with your newly tuned carb. ( Tuning is about patience you will need to disassemble and assemble your carb a few times in order to find the perfect tune for your altitude you can speed up the main jet dialing bye decreasing the main jet size by 10 each time remember to watch your plug. I hope this helps enjoy.

**Q: Bought carb now bike wont idle without choke. What do i do**
A: Adjust the air fuel mixture screw on the bottom. In for higher idle and out for lower. Sounds like it needs to goin a full turn or two.

Maaannn, we were having so much trouble trying to tune our TaoTao sr125! Took 2 different carbs that wouldn’t tune properly for anything. We got this one and I doubted it would work honestly, but it started right up fist kick on choke and idle was almost dead on where it should be. It might be slightly rich on the main jet but I will do further testing. I noticed the manifold gasket is legit not the right size inner diameter. It’s for a smaller carb possible 20mm take my word for it. I had an extra gasket laying around that was the right size inner diameter so I got lucky in my opinion. I wasn’t going to run this set up with that smaller diameter gasket simply knowing that’s incorrect. Take my word for it. You will need to buy one separately if you don’t want to be pissed off when you get your carb. I recommend this carb not bad for all the items that are included. The spark plug seems to work well too. I used my own fuel lines so I don’t really know how those will hold up. But everything seems good. Also, make sure your carb isn’t defective. I took the carb apart to make sure before I put it on. Check the jet size. It most like will be rich but it seems good if you use the intake manifold they provide In the kit not the manifold gasket. To reiterate, I highly recommend you buy a separate intake manifold gasket with the correct 26mm inner diameter. Happy Brapping!!!
