Why is this product sold for $32 over msrp?

Shipping and handling costs. When you don't have an Echo dealer in your part of the woods $32 bucks is a cheap fee many don't mind paying anyway because they only get the junk units for this price. Echo dealers aren't everywhere.

This comes with the foot deflector shown in picture?

Not sure what is meant by a 'foot' deflector but it has left side deflector that you can operate with your foot. This is a very nice well built spreader. The wheel base is wide, the tires are wide, the hopper easily holds a 40 pound bag, and it is far more dependable than my Scotts Edgeguard. It is all assembled except for the handle that takes 2 minutes to install. I would recommend it.

How wide is the spread (swath) for products such as Scotts weed & feed? And does it spread fairly evenly across the width or more to one side? Thx!
