I truly believe these should sold with the need for an amp to be a good speaker. If you can go 6.25 or 6.5's you should do that. More bass to be had. Either way I couldn't so here we go. Next step for me is to get an amp and rewrite this review and tell you the difference between no amp and with an amp. I have ks 6.5 coaxial speakers to. I like the sound of those so much better. Still that needs an amp to. Crossover is simple enough. Doesmt really come with descent hardware I had some self tapping screws to mount the tweeter and crossovers. More than likely will need some but connectors or solder. Have my tweeters set to the max position and they are very smooth not shrill.
