I finally settled on this safe for my valuables after some long research on Amazon and after returning another safe of different brand I had bought earlier. Oh, boy, this safe is really heavy and durable. It requires a lot of strength to carry. The walls and the cover are very thick. No sharp edges which is a plus for such a heavy item. Good space inside. Has a good lock and its easy to open with a key. However, after some use, the rubber washer inside the door fell off and I had to glue it back in place. Relatively low profile making it easier to hide. Unlike many other safes on Amazon, this one seems well-made with precision.

This safe is BIG and heavy, but was perfect for my needs. Good price (on sale). Very sturdy and secure.

The customer service at SentrySafe/Masterlock is incredible. I had a small issue with my safe, and they made the situation right. I absolutely recommend this product, or another from the Masterlock/SentrySafe product line, because of their response to my issue alone. The safe is alright. It's nothing to write home about, and that is to be expected at under $100. It is the exact width of a "normal" manila folder, and it would be nice if it was just *slightly* wider. I would like if the lid had some sort of resistance to prevent it from being slammed. I don't have any major issues with it and I don't feel as if I'm going to break anything unless there is a manufacturing defect or I mishandle it. The handle does flex a little if you try to open the safe while it is locked, but it fine with normal use. The key isn't reinforced and will bend if you push on it the wrong way. The gasket might fall off and need to be put back into position before shutting the lid again. Those issues don't worry me now that I've dealt with their customer service department. I contacted them for one of the issues I listed above and they fixed the problem quickly and completely. Fantastic customer support. Fantastic customer support.

Good safe . VERY heavy. Be aware before you buy. 39 lbs and bulky. Using as a NOK box. Only issue I have is the plastic latch on the lid is hard to close/open. Not a deal breaker as this is a 2x per year update item but do t undywhy it is not a smooth latching.

After several months, I open to put something in and the rubber seal came off. Looking for a way to put it back. Does not seem to be glued. Heavy !

EXCELLENT safe! Heavy enough. Well made. Serves the purpose for in-home security. Easy to 'hide' just about anywhere.

This Sentry Safe is great suitable size for family documents. It is very heavy and sturdy.

Lots of room for my files and important documents. The latch is very tight and you need to follow the instructions to ensure its engaged before you use the lock. Heavy but not impossible to move. It's not a safe as much of a fire box. I hope I won't find out how that feature works.

Okay this is kind of my fault because I probably should’ve done the measurements on this but when you look at one of the photos it looks like this box except hanging files. Maybe it does but they must be very small hanging files because it does not accept A4 files which is the majority of the paperwork that we all have so yes this is gonna be okay for passports currency and jewelry etc. But no if you want to store photocopies of all your important documents it is completely useless so Buyer Beware Other than that it’s well-made looks nice etc and the delivery was incredibly fast.

Is as i expected. Dont expect a wondrous locking mechanism. This is purely a detterent type of product. It is more designed for waterproofing and fireproofing. It locks and is heavy.
