Excellent product
Item was as described and well packaged. I have used it in the past and had great luck. Finish on a west facing door lasted 6 years without any touch up.

Great product
This is the second time I have purchased this product. We used it on rocking chairs on our front porch. We face west so we get sun from noon to the time the sun sets. The product did not deteriorate or lose it effectiveness over the last three years. I would recommend this product and company to everyone. Very happy with our purchase. So glad we found it!

Clear and shiny, just the way I like it.
I love this stuff. I use it on my refurbushed park bench at the house, and on various parts of the boat. To make it really hard and shiny, I use lots of thin coats. The last five or six coats are wet-sanded with 400, 600, 800, and 1000 grit in between coats. Does a decent job of standing up to the harsh, south-central Texas summers.

Oil and water do not mix!
For you younger folks, the wood seen here is Madagascar Rosewood. This tree is now extinct, another piece will never be seen again like this one. I am a well known restoration specialist and when your work matters, don’t settle for water based polyurethanes, wood NEEDS, DRINKS and REACTS TO, Oils. This products thickness can be controlled by adding thinners, causing the oils to “Re-swell” the wood and its joints. Furniture gets loose when this happens. Once the piece has had its fill, it starts to glass over. Then the fun begins. We call these next steps “Chasing the Tiger” and these electric golden cross grain lines appear… well, see for yourself. If you want the best there is, you just found it. I gave “Ease of use” a lower mark, because applying this by hand, isn’t easy! GOOD LUCK! T. Tagmeyer

Weather Proof Varnish
This varnish was recommended to me by Marc Spagnolo aka "The Wood Whisperer". Respecting his opinion I didn't hesitate. I used this on a set of second story balcony screen doors I built which have no shelter from the sun do to being on the second floor. This varnish has performed terrific. Bear in mind this is true "marine varnish" which is far superior to what's available in the home stores. It's pricey but if you want the best protection, the ROI can't be beat.

Great for exterior wood door finish too!
We used this for a knotty alder wood exterior door (because we wanted a finish that would protect against the sun and we didn't have to worry about cracking like a typical poly. It made the door beautiful, (with a little linseed oil and naptha) I included a before and after pictures of the door

I’ve used this to cover a coffee table that gets wiped lots. It’s difficult to use & I struggled to get a smooth finish. But that’s completely down to me & I should have YouTubed tips first. But it’s looks great and I’m pleased with it. It does go a long way. I was recommended this from a friend who says it’s the best yacht varnish and he knows a lots about boats!
