Been too busy dealing with other things and now I am outside my "return or support" window. Wish there was an easy way to recondition these batteries. Only videos I found online of how to bypass it and get it to charge seem dangerous. Regretting my Porter Cable purchase.(Update) Since posting my 1 star review, the seller reached out and is assisting me in fixing the issue. Their customer service seems to be pretty good and they stand behind their product. The other dies within the first month and refuses to charge.These are awesome when they worked. I installed metal roofing for 4 hours on a single charge.Amazon support has graciously refunded my account for the battery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good battery at a good price *by R***B on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2023* At this price, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Cheaper batteries tend to be, well, cheap batteries. I had a couple of big projects, and wanted to have some extra power on hand, so I gave these a try. No complaints! These cordless tools were never designed to drill 1/2” holes 14-16” deep in a log, but that’s what I needed to do. Did the batteries heat up? Yes. Did the tool struggle? Yes. But I got the job done. My cordless nearly kept up toe-toe with an old, 6 amp corded drill, and these batteries were none the worse for wear over the 6 months since I completed those projects. For me, the gamble paid off!
