I love this shampoo. I have oily scalp and this helps to clean so well without drying my length. I have natural long brown hair with oily scalp but dry length. This removes the oiliness so well without drying. I have been using it for more than two years and it helps to maintain hair health. The big bottle also lasts very long so I’d say it value for money. The shampoo itself is transparent and thick without a strong smell. I’d give it 10 out of 5 if I could.

Feels great using it. Calm smell, nice lather but the after effects seem to leave my hair greasy as the day progresses whereas my more expensive shampoos didn’t. I’d still recommend this on a budget and especially if you use hair product it will mitigate the greasy feel/look.

I don't understand all the negative reviews citing the bottle not being full. It's 100% full of the 13.5 ounces listed in the description, and on the bottle itself. I took a pic next to a can for reference. The can is 10.75oz, so almost 11oz right there. The Nexxus bottle is slightly larger in diameter and you can see it has more than enough liquid above the can height to make up the whole of the 13.5oz it is advertised to contain. Just bc they didn't fill it to the lid, doesn't mean it's not full. I hope this helps clear up the reviews. The shampoo itself works great. Nice scent to it, and a little goes a long way. I would start with less than you think you'd need. You can always add a bit more if you're not getting enough coverage, but it lathers really well. I am using it to lighten a coloring job I did on my hair (the medium brown coloring I wanted came out dark brown), and I'm following it with a Marc Anthony repairing hair mask that I leave on for about five minutes and wash out. I wouldn't use this shampoo without a conditioning mask or really good conditioner afterwards, btw, especially on color-treated or bleached hair. It's lightening the color of my hair gently with each wash, so I am happy with my purchase.

I was needing a shampoo to help with hard water and product build up in my hair. Nexxus is a good brand and the quality was good. The smell was good and I did not have any issues with using it. My hair felt clean after using it- I use once a week. It is a good value for the brand.

Just is a little be more different from the one I used to order before. It has 1.5% Clarifix Balancer with Lactic Acid. It can see the difference on the picture

So i believe i habe low porosity hair. Coupled with depression, my hair makes wash day a chore and a half. I watched a video where a stylist recommended using tqo separate clarifying shampoos to strip buildup from the hair and scalp to allow moisture to take. I dont know which i one did the trick, this has done wonders for my hair. Were talking 3 weeks out and my hair is still soft and shiny. Im thpe 4c and my hair usually gets course and dry over time even with daily moisturizing. I went ths affordable route rather than the luxury route. Nexus was the most expensive but because of the volume. I love thst it came in a 33oz bottle. It will take me a good long while to get through. My hair hasnt been this moisturized sinxe i did a home made avocado prepoo hair mask.. i was tempted to go out without oil on my hair to seal it. My hair detangled so easily after. I look forward to the results in the future.
