Sagging Sofa Cushion Support | Seat Saver

My cushions were fine, but, one of the supports on the sofa must have cracked. I needed something that would redistribute the weight under one cushion on the sofa. Most of these seat savers are only 17" deep. I needed something that was a little deeper. I finally found this one which is 19" deep. It solved the problem. I had to google the size dozens of times before it finally showed up on a google search. Bookmark the page once you find it or it may take hours to find the correct web page again.

We have a 10 year old sofa that looks like brand new because it has always had a cover over it because of the dog. However, the bottom was beggining to sag which left it a bit uncomfortable, and if you have a back issue already, it doesn't help. After reading the reviews, I decided to make this purchase. since the cost was a lot lower than a new sofa, I actually bought two of these for extra support. They worked out perfectly and now the sofa is like new again. I am not saying that everyone would need to purchase two, I just thought I would do that for even better support since the sofa exterior is like new. Thanks Amazon!

cushions looked sturdy and had positive advertising, read the reviews which were pretty negative, but I thought sometimes people could be negative in commenting so I took the chance knowing that I could send it back. Product worked as poorly as the commenters had said. Really no noticeable support when sitting on couch or chair. I took the set and folded them together to make one seating support, That seemed to give some stiffness to prevent sinking into the cushion in the chase lounge. Not really great, but do get noticeable support, so it cost the whole price of a support for a whole couch. OUCH!! I am keeping it because it does help help with sinking. I cannot understand for the life me, why all the competition in this area cannot produce a strong supporter that actually is of quality standards. The company that a works that out and comes up with a better product will get all of our business and can make some really good money Here is an opportunity sitting right out in the market place and no one can make a workable product??? What happened to the great Made in America skills???

This product is way too thin and has too many folds to be able to offer any real support. I purchased both the chair support and the couch support. To feel any sort of difference in the chair, I had to double the seat pad back onto itself. It covered less area, but it doubled the amount of thickness. The couch support was a little better --- mainly because its folds are further apart. And, just one minor thing --- the vinyl covering has a really STRONG plasticy smell. Overall ... my impression was that a BIG cardboard box - folded up - would have provided just as much support.

I bought this for my Dad but soon ended up using it on my couch. My couch isn't old but I wanted to use something to keep it from getting the hole - you know the one where you always end up sitting in the same place on the couch - well I found out the I do that too! The "Sheldon spot" for me is on the right end so I put this there and I have not noticed any sagging in my favorite spot. Preventative planning is how I like to look at it. I am so glad that I am using this.

I won't give this a 1 star rating because it did work as it was supposed to. My Fiance and I are both overweight, not a lot, but enough. So after months of use, the couch begins to sag. I bought these things to fix the issue. They worked amazingly well for a while. These things are a great cheap temporary fix, but lack long term. They are very thin and not very durable. You could bend them by hand. If you're not overweight and need a fix, I'd check it out, but if you are, look for something more solid. A quick fix isn't the answer.

I have an older leather couch that I love. However, the cushions were sagging which made it uncomfortable. I received this yesterday and am very impressed! Good size, fit the entire length of the couch. The couch not only looks better but is much more comfortable. If you are thinking about getting this product, don’t hesitate

I was worried about this product, since some other reviewers were disappointed in it, but went ahead because others were happy. Count me as one of the happy ones. Our 7 yr old sofa was aging, but not really swaybacked. It just needed a little bit of support, and this really did the trick. It feels really natural and unobtrusive--I'd forgotten we put it under the cushions until I went to flip them while cleaning the other day! Over all, I think this is a good and useful thing to extend the life of your sofa if its not too far gone.

Product does the job but only just. It made a difference but not a terrific one.
