The illumination showed nicely but I did notice that the light seems to be brighter at the bottom of the clock between 5 and 6. Not sure if that is a defect, or all the clocks are made like that? The face of clock is properly illuminated, but not sure if this was meant to be or not? Otherwise, everything is good, and it's kind of like having a night light that faces you, but doesn't interrupt your sleep.
