I purchased another kit but it came in parts? You would have to put it together and had a bunch of screws. This is all one piece and easy to install once you take your console apart to get at the hinge screws., looks nice but has a slightly softer and less durable looking finish than the original but for the price it's a bargain.

Took a few hours to change out but partly my fault. Doesn't come with directions. You have to disassemble the old lid to re-use the hinge Take a picture before you take it apart if you aren't mechanically inclined. I put the hinge in upside down and had to take it apart again to correct it. There is also a metal plate that I re-used from the old lid. That had a support piece broken off the bottom and I glued it back in place to provide stability. That took extra time. I also had a problem with the console itself and thought I would have to glue it together but it actually didn't impact putting things back together. That took extra time even though wound up not needing to glue it together. The screws didn't line up exactly and I had to loosen screws and move things around to get them lined up right. Not a perfect color match but so glad I have a functioning lid again. All in all not too bad to use. I also put a piece of foam in between the layers to hopefully decrease potential for the plastic breaking.

This part is important because the factory one is so easily broken. It does have a better fake leather look to it, with seams on the edge. HOWEVER, this part is just as cheap as the factory one as far as breaking. Same thin plastic around an empty cavity. I took it apart before installing and tightly sandwiched some pipe insulation in the empty cavity between the plastics, so hopefully it won't crack as easily as the original. Install was nice as it has screws instead of the original bolts. Much lighter than the original. Will update if it doesn't hold up.

This was purchased as a replacement kid for my GMC Envoy XL. It was very easy to install and very sturdy. It did not come with instructions but you can easily look up a video on how to change it out if needed, but very easy overall once you find the screws you need to take out to install the new one.

It's ok for what it is. The kit that doesn't come already together with a cover is just the plastic parts for 8$ more ,so I went with this one in beige as my interior is tan/ beige whatever you want to call that color but this came in at a lighter color than the OEM ,but it looks fancy . but upon further inspection the fake leather wasn't pulled tight enough on one end and is splitting on the back side which I can fix with these I just think they just need to watch the quality controlled a little bit Better I took off 2 stars due to the material sagging on one side and the split on the other.

Fits perfectly on my envoy and matches the overall OEM color.

Pretty easy to install! You will need a mm socket and Philips screw driver and a drill to remove old plastic riviera. The new one does not come with rivets or a place to put them. It is all screws and you will need the 7mm to reattach the 3 screws that attach it to the console hinge. They are tight and you will have to pry back the plastic piece to remove and replace those screws. I do not recommend a drill for that portion, you will have to pry the plastic piece a little to remove and replace. It lined up very well. Total time is probably an hour to remove and replace. Looks very nice and everything lined up nicely when done. Like I stated earlier. Totally happy so far with replacement!
