I bought this set of dual-tip highlighters for my teenage daughter, and she absolutely loves them! I am absolutely in love with these high lighters, and highly appreciate the dual tones for them. I use these for work for highlighting key points in the lighter tones and things of higher importance in the darker/brighter tones. I actually bought a second set so that I can keep one set for work, and another with my study materials. They are a little bulky but that is to be expected when each marker is essentially two in one, but the functionality of them for my use is beyond measure. I have had no issue using them on both sides of a paper in my note book and have experienced zero bleed through. These markers are great and I highly recommend them.

These were very bright and standout like a good highlighter. You can tell alot of thought went into the design and it shows with the ease of use.

Looking at this side-to-side with another quality highlighter, the Pilot series Kire-Na, you can already tell that this marker is in the same high rank. These pens have a blocky, stiff bevel which at first I was skeptical, but it's usage proved that it was not a standard highlighter. The darker, or regular, color comes off the head into paper really nicely and it doesn't feel stiff to color with. Instead, it feels smooth and comfortable as you highlight. Now the pastel side, to me, feels like it's too light. Almost as if it was a water color instead of a pastel color, but this feels more like a personal opinion that sees this so i won't let it affect the rating. The barrel is long, plastic but again, comfortable to write with. I gave extra bonus points to the Kire-Na for its ability to stop the bleeding at the end which gives it a clear and non-spotty color at the end of the pen stroke. Unfortunately this pen doesn't earn those bonus points, but at the end it excels and would recommend to anyone needing a highlighter with multiple colors.

I never thought a highlighter could genuinely improve my study sessions, but the Kokuyo Mark+ Two Colors Highlighter proved me wrong. The dual-tip design is an absolute stroke of genius — having two colors in a single pen means I can switch between shades in a split second without rummaging through a pencil case. I use one color for key terms and the other for supporting details, and the system I've built around it has made reviewing my notes so much faster and more intuitive. What really won me over is how gentle the ink is on paper. Even on thinner notebook pages, there's barely any bleed-through. The colors are vivid and cheerful without being overwhelming. The ergonomic barrel feels comfortable during long study sessions, and the cap clicks on satisfyingly so the tips never dry out. Outstanding value — if you color-code your life, this is a must-have!

I love this set of five, double-tipped highlighter pens, with ten shades in all - as each of the 4mm tips, features two different tones of the same colour. This is a great idea, and the fact that both nibs/ tips sit at an angle, adjacent to each other on the same end, does make it easier to alternate their use, than using one that has each tip at each end of the pen - however, you are at the same time, exposing to the air the tip you are possibly not using, as well as the one you are - time will tell, if this accelerates their drying out. I like how they feel in the hand, the barrel is very smooth - the data on it is printed, it's not a sticky label all the way around - I do prefer that, as I hate when it deteriorates, leaving sticky residue on your hand, as well as on other pens in the pencil case, but, what it also means is, that data can wear away/ off, with time & use. With them not being too chunky (13mm at the widest point), they're easy to handle - each barrel clearly denotes its colour, making for easy & quick selection. I love the colours - they are muted, without being washed out; the bolder shades, with perfect compliments of the lighter shades, makes for more creative categorising of text - I am already, much enjoying that about them in my journals. As the ink of these highlighters is water-based, I have found, that if you use them over fountain pen ink, that you wrote out hours ago, or, better still, yesterday, there is no bleeding/ smudging of the highlighter colour, or the pen's ink - but, if you use them too soon over fountain pen ink, you will get that bleeding - something to keep in mind if you use rollerball ink, too, as that is also water-based. When I discovered this, I then re-wrote the fountain pen ink, over the highlighter straight away - it only caused more bleeding - I should thereafter have left the highlighter ink to dry for a bit! I reckon it will be fine, much better, when used that soon after writing in oil-based Biro ink. Happily, these highlighters don't bleed colour to the back of the page you are working on, so, there are no 'ghost-lines' of highlighter on the reverse page. These are great quality pens - in my experience, it's a given, if it's Japanese-made stationery, it will be of good quality; they're well-constructed, not flimsy in any way & with them being only 13 cm long, they will fit in pretty much any pencil case; the lids have a pocket clip on, are easy enough to remove, yet close securely, they're not about to come off in transit; at 1.60 GBP for each piece, they represent great value for money, too. I even like the sturdy, re-sealing, smooth-touch pouch they come in. I'm really pleased with this purchase - I would happily buy these pens & from this seller & this brand again.
