Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 4 Review: A Dark and Gripping Tale of Identity and Survival - The artwork in Tokyo Ghoul is simply breathtaking. Each panel is meticulously detailed, with dynamic action scenes and hauntingly beautiful illustrations that bring the story to life viscerally and unforgettably. From the eerie streets of Tokyo to the heart-pounding battles between ghouls and investigators, every aspect of the artwork contributes to the series' dark and atmospheric tone. Review: Review of Tokyo Ghoul vol 4 - This series is sooooo good. So Kaneki still trying to fit in with both worlds, but his super perceptive best friend, Hide's turning into a problem. Just a little bit of one. Hide has been putting things together between the Dove's and Hinami's mother's death. Though the news coverage replaced death with capture. Since Hinami's face was scene and the mask of Toaka, The Rabbit, Hide's been working on his ghoul profile. Hide wishes to investigate the daughter, Hinami, on his own. Kaneki must keep everything a secret from Hide, but he's worried his friend will get too close on his own. How will he keep this from growing into a bigger problem? What if Toaka sees Hide as a threat and kills him? One thing for sure, if a ghoul invites you to a restaurant say no. The Gourmet has come back to Kaneki's ward. Shu, known as The Gourmet, takes an interest in Kaneki and even though the kid was warned by others. Kaneki still talks to Shu. Not to mention the fact that he's learned more about what happened the night Rize tried to eat him. He needs information that Shu has, but won't give up. This ghoul's on the hunt for the finest tastes. Much like a wine taster or a chief. Shu prefers only the best and to some ghouls he comes off a little snobbish for their taste. Shu and Kaneki share the same love in authors and books. This is what draws Kaneki in and stirs Shu's curiosity of the boy. There's rumors of a one eyed ghoul around, but no one' seen the true one eyed ghoul. This ghoul was mentioned way before Kaneki was created. But it's advised that Kaneki keeps his one eye a secret. But will this other ghoul appear? Some cleavage is shown in this book but no sex scenes or anything. Language of course, and some scenes of gore and violence. The later scenes are a little intense but I still read on eager to know how things progress! Can't wait to receive the next books in the series!

Tokyo Ghoul was always my favorite anime. I was told the manga was 10xs better. It is truly a work of art I love it so much!

Amazing series.
I love Tokyo Ghoul anime but they fell off after season one so reading the manga has been a treat. I wish they would redo the anime.

I Want More!
This is by far one of my favorite series. I read the Kindlized version of this series the minute it downloads to my iPad. It has deep meaning along with inspirational characters. I am hooked, along with some other friends. I feel for them because they read the paperbacks, not the Kindlized version, which has been coming out months before the paperbacks. Either way, the story is engaging, the characters are interesting, and the story flows. I await the next installment with great anticipation.
