The bristle brush is very nice, I'd say a medium feel to the bristles and it works wonderfully. The black bristles you will see in there are plastic which help the softer boar hair comb through. It's definitely more boars hair.My one fault to the brush is some of the plastic ones I had to trim as they were about 1cm above all the others, not a big deal.The comb is great and works well. Be careful as the points are well... Points. They have a good stab your face quality if you aren't careful. I also recommend not getting the comb wet.
