Didn’t stand a chance from getting near my face. The sun? Blocked. The overall quality of this hat? Superb. It’s lightweight, breathable, comfortable and competitively priced. The color works with just about anything too. Most bugs deflected immediately. Only one got stuck in the netting. And I can’t really fault the hat for that, since the bug was super tiny.
