BOSCH 15182 Premium Original Equipment Oxygen Sensor - Compatible with Select Porsche Boxster

Worked fine. Well packed. Good quality. Great connector!

This is exactly the same as the Porsche part, it just comes in a Bosch box (at 2/3 the price). Installation takes a few minutes, the hardest part is releasing the old electrical connector. Look at the new one to figure out how it releases. Remove and install with a crescent wrench. The new part comes with contact "grease" already on the threads, just screw it in, tighten and plug it in.

I have a 986 2000 Boxster S. While amazonconfirmedfit said these sensors would fir, sadly they do not. The wire length between the sensor and the connector is too short. The wire needs to be 5.5"-6" for the front sensors and 11" for the rear sensors. The wire for this sensor is less than that. Bummer.

Worked well on my 2000 Boxster S. I was chasing a CEL and was able to swap this sensor in for the front pre-cat O2 sensors that came with the car. The sensor has the anti-seize prelubed so no need to get any extra for the install either.

Perfect only get the bosch for boxster and suck it up get all 4, save time if one is bad they all are bad. I learned the hard way

Buyers beware, the item I received is different than the photo. The connector end in the photo is what I needed for my 2000 Boxster.... but when I received the sensor it had a square type end. I do realize that some other model year 986 Boxster's use the square connector but I needed the same one as in the photo...the oval type.

Worked like a champ on my 2000 Porsche Boxster S to replace my driver side pre-cat sensor.
