Review: Good barrier, requires some digging - I used this in an attempt to stop my neighbours bamboo roots creeping into my garden. You have to dig quite deep(50cm), although I dug to a depth of around 30cm having exposed the roots for about month. This did mean I had to cut the barrier to accommodate the reduced depth. I will have to wait and see if any new shoots appear on my side of the fence.

**Q: If I am putting this in to stop my neighbours bamboo crossing into my garden, would I only need it on one side?**
A: I would have thought so. As long as its dug in deep and secure enough.

**Q: How heavy is this product ?**
A: It isn’t heavy, however it keeps my bamboos in check.

**Q: How do you join a 2nd roll?**
A: It’s quite thick.  I can’t see why you couldn’t drill some holes and join them using small nuts and bolts.

**Q: Do you need the securing pegs**
A: No, as you bury it in the ground, which secures it.

Only time will tell if my neighbours bamboo works it’s way through the barrier and if it does then nothing will keep the flaming roots at bay! Very strong and thick barrier.
