This torch head works as advertised out of the box and I haven't had much of any issue with it at all. Sometimes the ignitor button will stick in the OFF position, but I'd rather have it that way than being able to accidentally hit the button at an inopportune moment and burn myself or anything else. The torch flame is solid, thick and beefy: it will set afire wood, paper or whatever else you need nearly instantly. My old Bernz-o-matic propane/MAPP torch's flame is about 33% smaller than this torch and accordingly, is around the same amount less effective. This torch is also louder due to higher fuel flow. The valve adjusts smoothly and works as it should. Even after accidentally leaving this torch out in rainy weather(allowing it to become fully soaked!), it still worked and produced fire on the first trigger pull. The ignitor sparks every time, and the flow tube and torch tip can be easily removed with an Allen wrench for cleaning if needed. I have no problem saying that this torch is well worth its cost, I'd buy another one if needed, and I'd recommend it to anyone who asks. Thanks for reading.

We had some work done around the house. And some of the pipes had to be seared to cut through the rust so they could be turned, removed and replaced with new ones. I watched as the worker used his propane torch. The flame seemed weak and it took about two minutes before the pipe began to glow red hot which indicated the rust was being burned through. We had another tight-fitting pipe problem, and I decided to save some money by fixing it myself. I bought this torch and attached it to a canister of MAP//Pro gas. Wow! What a difference. The flame was so powerful like it was being shot out of a jet engine. And I kid you not. the pipe was glowing red hot after only ten seconds.! The torch is very easy to use and a like the special locking feature that does not require the user to be constantly pressing down of a trigger. It has a good solid build and well designed. If you are looking for a good torch that burns really hot this is definitely the one you want.

There isn't anything about this torch head that I have to complain about. It is very functional, does a great job handing flame, and it is easy to use. I have had zero issues with it. It is an excellent value for the money spent. Fuel consumption is normal like other torch heads. It turns off and seals perfectly. It is safe to operate in the manner of using a torch head like this one. It's the perfect size for common use.

I rated this with four stars not because the torch does work well but because it uses way more propane the my previous torch. I use this mainly to light the fire in my wood burning stove and it works really well for that. My previous torch would use about one bottle per winter, and this one has already about gone through one bottle already and it is mid December. It works really well and lights the fire quickly, just be aware that it does use more propane than other torches. However, don't let that stop you from purchasing this torch. I like the way it performs and would recommend it to others as well.

This torch works well. My smaller tip from my old torch fit it. Lights first try every time so far. I'm happy with it.

Bernzomatiac and other major brands are about $20+ more expensive than this brand and I have to say its very impressive compared to them my old one (Bernzomatic) the seals went on it after 10+ years and looking forward to this one lasting longer as build quality seems excellent and flame control is perfect to get proper flame for task at hand! Recommended you get this one youll be impressed!

I bought this torch head mainly to use in cooking, such as charring Jalapeño peppers for easy peeling. But I am actually looking forward to the next plumbing debacle that will involve soldering copper pipe. Seriously, this item is vastly superior to any other propane torch head I have ever owned before now.

amazing product and top notch quality. The seller as well ! I highly recommend it. One advice is to make siure that You can find the GAS - connection as per the item. IN my case, I was enable to find the cylinder neither the connectors and the seller accepted the return in no time; Thank you again

Works perfectly. I personally would have preferred a slightly finer flame, but it obviously depends on what you are using it for.

I am very pleased with this torch. The Igniter work every time when pressing the knob. Using it, I soldered 1-1/4'' 45- degree elbow and tailpiece pipe without any hesitation. I recommend this torch for DIY.
