It has a nice feel and the colors are subtle. I just received it, so I can't describe how it launders, but I am thinking it will be fine. My only surprise was that it's not actually 100% cotton. There is an 80% cotton/20% poly fill that is not mentioned anywhere in the description. The face is 100% cotton.
