Love the case, fits 13" MacBook Pro Retina perfectly - have purchased two so far!
This is the second one of these cases I have ordered for my 13" MacBook Pro. My first one held up very well for a year before it succumbed to the small crack in the corner catching on the edge of my backpack when I took it out to go through airport security on a recent trip. The little feet on the bottom have just enough grip to make your laptop feel very stable on the surface you set it on, which is really nice - and the matte finish to the case looks really professional. It is not opaque, but slightly translucent, which I really like, but if you would prefer to not see the Apple glowing from underneath the case this one probably isn't for you. It fits the computer exactly and goes on hassle free - though if you have a stick-on protector over the bezel and keyboard areas it can be tricky to click the case on without disturbing the sticker. Personally, I do not use the included keyboard protector - I feel like they move when I type and slightly hinder the laptop's ability to fully close. It fits the keyboard great and it's more of a personal preference about how it feels to type with it on than any issue with the product whatsoever. I will say that if you want to reduce the amount of noise from hitting the keys on your keyboard, they do help. Your backlit key letters/numbers will not show through the protector although the edge backlighting is still faintly visible. I plan on sticking with these cases for my computer and will likely buy again when this one gives out - it's a worthwhile and minor investment for protecting my computer and I feel like they look good and function well.

Beautiful color! Snapped on perfectly. Velvety feel. I love these- they make my laptop easier to grip and stay put in my lap.

Works well, great price
Have had for six weeks. I spent a lot of time, reading a lot of reviews on cases for 2015 13 in MacBook pros. Most of the reviews, have the ratings for cases at about 60 percent. Some less some more. In reading, I came across two things that stood out. Some people seem to have gotten bad cases, manufactured just a little off, that didn't fit or were broken in transport. Understandable, they're all priced similar, 10 to 30 dollars, depending on brand, and produced and sold en masse there's gonna be a margin of error. The second thing that stood out was expectations. In reading, it came across that that people expected cases like the iBenzer, and similar brands, to be shock proof or of a higher quality than seems reasonable. Like for 15 dollars or whatever you paid, it was suppose to be with you for the life of the computer. That's not a call to everyone, some get bad cases that break shortly after purchase, and that sucks. The main thing I'm answering in my review is expectation. What is your expectation of a case at this price point? For me, it covers all aspects of the exterior that I need covered. When closed the hinge spine is exposed, but it has to be or else it wouldn't open. The hard case does pick up some smudges, but they do wipe off. I use dish soap on a paper towel, but use whatever works. I wouldn't spray case directly, just the rag or cloth or whatever used to wipe. iBenzer had the best rating at the time I bought it, and the only one that had the jet black in stock at this price point. It came undamaged and snapped on quickly. Both pieces fit securely, and it has seen some transporting around. There's not scratches yet on the case, but I fully expected there to be at some point. That's why the case is there. Whether that happens sooner or later I don't think matters. As long as it protects the computer. You should avoid dropping your Mac at all, and take precautions as necessary. If you feel you're environment makes this more likely, get a bulkier more shock resistant case. This case seems great for keeping off scratches, dust and maybe the accidental spilled drink, when closed, but I wouldn't count on it not to break or protect Mac in a fall. Awesome if it does. I found the keyboard protector DOES NOT stick to the monitor. I have the later 2015 model 841 Macbook pro, seems like there's a bit of a recess on the screen to help prevent this. It feels weird still typing on the key protector, but these things are pricey and I'd rather take the time to get use to using it than to have debris and crap get into the keys. I'd buy this again. For anyone searching and reading reviews, know your expectations, know the price point you're looking at and pick one brand to try. I got a good one. I know how I handle my Mac, how I transport it and and think this case can give me my return on the small investment it costs.

Good, sturdy case that provides great protection at a fair price
I purchased this case after my previous case, the "Mosiso - Aqua Blue 2-in-1 Rubberized Hard Case + Keyboard Cover for Apple MacBook Pro 15.4" with Retina Display Model" finally broke (due to no fault of the case itself--I broke it when it was off of my computer). I liked that case and keyboard cover combination, so I was tempted to get it again, but I thought I'd try this one because it was the same price and had slightly better reviews. I have a mid-2014 MacBook Pro with Retina (as suggested by iBenzer, I checked the model number on the back of the computer: A1398) and I purchased the "Macbook Pro 15" with retina" turquoise case. The case fits perfectly--it was relatively easy to put on, and I don't think it will come off unless I really try. The color is very pretty and appears as advertised in the photo, a beautiful Tiffany blue. The keyboard cover matches the case very well. This case is almost the exact same quality as the Mosiso case; however, if I had to choose one, I'd say the iBenzer is slightly better. The rubber foot pads on the Mosiso fell off after a few months, but the iBenzer foot pads are made of a sort of memory foam and feel much more secure--I'd be surprised if they ever fall off. The iBenzer case is slightly more opaque; I can't see the Apple logo unless it's lit up, but I actually prefer this look, although that's totally personal preference (I have the turquoise, other colors might be different). The keyboard cover also feels a bit more sturdy than the Mosiso, which was developing a few minor tears after a year. As far as keyboard covers go, some people say they don't like the feel, but I've always preferred the feel of the cover, and I imagine you can pretty quickly get used to it if you've never tried it before. I've had a keyboard cover on my current MacBook basically since the day I got it, and it has kept my keyboard in like-new condition. I sometimes eat while I'm on my computer, and my old computer had tons of crumbs caught between the keys. The keyboard cover is really easy to clean with soap and water in the sink, so this is never a problem for me anymore. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase, and I think the price is very fair. Four stars instead of five because I'm not totally over the moon about how great it is, but it's a nice case that I think will adequately protect my computer.

Wow- best case ever, I'm on my second
Turns out that I bought this case 5 years ago for my 2015-ish macbook pro. This time I got the key cover too which is awesome and also quiet under the finger tips ! Let me tell you about the first one- it lasted 5 years and could have gone longer but a corner chipped and I'm a little picky so I bought this new one. This new one is just a great as the last. Here's what it has been through- countless trips in a carry on bag all over 3 continents, public transport cities etc. I put it in my briefcase or backpack which often hits the ground and the laptop is fully protected. This laptop also survived the disaster when I put my foot through the ceiling of my office (from the attic)- 120 years of dust and stucco fell on top of it and the laptop had no damage. The case was virtually clear and unscratched after 5 years. You can't tell the difference until you line it up with this one straight out of the package- the 5 year old one is only slightly more dull. After all that time I had one tiny corner chip. None of the bumpers underneath fell off as other cases have. It feels and looks great and this one cost about half the price I paid 5 years ago. Don't hesitate- you need this case !!! Clear is great, I'm sure the other colors are just as nice.

4-Month Update: Not long-lasting; okay for the price
UPDATE (January 24, 2016): I've had this case and keyboard cover for almost 4 months now. I'm deducting a star because the quality is exceptionally mediocre. Not good, not *too* bad. Main issues: - The case has begun to crack along the margins where it's secured onto the laptop. - The edges of the bottom case are not very secure on the corners, causing it to subtly click in and out of place as I type if my wrists are not raised (not that big of a concern, but the noise annoys me sometimes while I'm trying to focus on writing a paper in the same way a person incessantly clicking a pen would annoy me - except that person is me because I can't just stop typing). - The keyboard cover has stretched to become inconvenient when I type, and now the middle floats above my keyboard like a little mountain of typing inefficiency. These aren't particularly good signs since I'm hoping to keep this laptop for at least 3 years (MacBooks tend to give out after that). The keyboard cover I had for my previous MacBook Pro (brand: UPPERCASE), which I had used for a little over 3 years, barely stretched and was even thinner to begin with, so it never impeded my typing speed. Honestly, I only purchased this set for the case and not the keyboard cover (I was planning on purchasing another UPPERCASE cover), but since it came with one, I decided to give the iBenzer keyboard cover a shot. The iBenzer case and keyboard cover have done a good job protecting my laptop (I didn't use a case for my previous laptop because it always overheated, so it looked like a cat had scratched up the front by the end of 3 years), but I'm sure there are higher quality alternatives for a comparable price. I'm definitely purchasing an UPPERCASE keyboard cover to replace this iBenzer one, but I'll probably stick with the laptop case itself until it actually breaks. Miscellaneous pros: - I like the turquoise color, opacity, and matte finish of the cover, which minimizes the appearance of fingerprints. - The cover is lightweight and doesn't overheat my laptop. Miscellaneous cons: - The turquoise case and keyboard cover colors do not match (the case has a greener undertone), which several sassy people have pointed out to me. I personally don't care, but I thought I'd just mention it for those who do find it a concern. - As others have noted, the keyboard cover blocks a lot of light from shining through. Not so convenient when you're trying to do work in the darkness because you're making bad decisions staying up until 4 am to finish an assignment, and you don't want to bother your sleeping roommate or boyfriend. - The color of the keyboard case fades quickly (see attached photo), which isn't the most attractive. Could be a pro, though, if you've always wanted to know which keys you press most often (N, E, A, and S for me). Also, disclaimer: I'm a college student, so I may use my laptop more heavily than others, if you want to take that into account. ORIGINAL REVIEW (September 27, 2015): Looks good, does the job well. I've only had this for a couple of weeks, so I can't attest to the longevity of the product yet. The keyboard cover is pretty thick relative to a clear one I used in the past for my first Macbook Pro, which makes my typing a tad more inefficient, but I will probably grow more accustomed to this over time.
