And would it be effective? Thanks** A: Hi, I don't find it very effective for this. It does work but I find either white spirit or lighter fuel is more effective. Ignore the vile woman above, bleach is also caustic and yet we use that to clean a lot of things. We use alcohol in a lot to clean. It evaporates, that is why people whom use computers use it. It cleans effectively and leaves no minerals behind. Water is full of them, don't descale an iron or kettle and you will see what I mean. If your mould is made out of heat resistant plastic/rubber it will be fine with IPA though. It is just alcohol and it evaporates in seconds. **Q: Would this be good for cleaning keyboards?** A: I think it would be good for cleaning keyboards. I would recommend spraying it onto a cloth and using the cloth on the keys. Good value. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Got as a non toxic pesticide. *by R***R on 13 March 2021* Got this to treat a mealy bug infection on one of my cacti (although most likely will have to check/ treat the rest too as they spread). The recommended strength to get is 70 % unless you have infected succulents with a wax coating then 50% is safer as higher damages the coating. but I didn't check the concentration properly before buying so my bad. To compensate for the higher concentration I just diluted it with a lot more water in the spray bottle . The mealy bugs and egg sacks have turned brown, and so far my cactus seems fine aside from having been attacked by the mealys (although I diluted on the side of caution). It does work for other plants too but just check as some plants are more sensitive and delicate than others. Spray morning or evening and keep the plant out of direct sunlight until dry as the alcohol will cause the plant to sunburn otherwise.
