Wissenschaftlich korrekt bis in die Tiefe, trotzdem leicht verständlich. Didaktisch gut aufgebaut. Nicht überladen. Rundes Paket, am besten zusammen mit West's Pulmonary Pathophysiology. Diese Kombination ist (als Alternative zum Nunn) eine Pflichtlektüre für alle (werdenden) Anästhesisten und Intensivmediziner.
