Or, stir up the surface soils in your pot THEN add the BioChar. You want the BioChar to get down around the roots as much as possible. You a can add this product every month (1 or 2 Cups) just before fertilizing as it will absorption of nutrients. Depending on how many plants you have to care for, one bag will last a long time. BE SURE and seal up the bag well for storage of the leftover, or move the BioChaar to a container with a tight lid.
