Well-designed and Works great!
To be fair - I have only used it three times so far, but was quite impressed. It is light (but not flimsy), strong, and well-constructed. It is also very easy to use. I like the design - and the two additional plastic spikes you can use to fasten it to grass or dirt, if you need more grip. The price is not cheap, but quite reasonable for a quality item. So far I call it a good purchase - and much easier than always using a pile of shims to level my ladder like I have done for many years!

Works great but expensive if you have to buy two
The ladder levelizer is very well made and works as advertised. The levelizer is not cheap but is a quality product. I found the only downside was I really needed two for my project which was using a 10 foot step ladder to fix my gutters. The ground on my home slopes away from the foundation and I did not want to use a extension ladder because I didn't want to damage the gutter. The levelizer worked great on one leg but I had to use a 2" by 6" board on the other leg because I mistakenly thought there would be two levelers to a package. It would get expensive to buy two of these so I made due with one which worked out okay for my project.

Makes climbing a ladder with a sloped yard much safer and easier!
I bought this product for my husband bc I didn't like him having to stack bits and pieces of whatever he could find lying around to raise the ladder to the height he needed. This is the BEST product I have found, for making things safer and easier for him! The leveler has a gritty texture that keeps the ladder leg from sliding or moving, the stakes that are included (and have a handy storage compartment) keep it secured in the ground, so no more worrying about something sliding off. The built in storage holder that uses the ladder rung, was a smart idea too! It is made of very durable materials, so no more worrying about punching a hole through things! Definitely makes things much safer and secure! Would buy again if necessary!

Works as described & better than a "brick/rock":)
I had used someone elses leveler and think this was the same. One thing that caught my attention was it is wide enough that when you get to the edge (for the maximum leveling) the overall length is such that you can get both ladder legs on it making it safer - i.e. it won't "flip up" on you due to the angular pressure. The only surprising drawback I saw is the "nails" shown are plastic, not steel. They seem to work O.K. but it has crossed my mind to get me some big arse gutter nails; just to make "me" feel better...

It works.
I was not sure if it would work for our backyard, but it did. Our family room in this split level house is about 4 1/2 feet lower than our kitchen. There is a slope in our backyard to match that "split." It was impossible to put a ladder there. I was skeptical that this orange wedge would work: it didn't seem to have enough angle. But as I put a gutter in the back, it kept the ladder level at 3 different places on the slope of the backyard lawn. So I'm sold. Well, I already bought it. You know what I mean. I wish there was a velcro strap or something on the underside. Something to secure it when it's in storage mode hanging on a rung. That way, I can carry my ladder in one hand. Just a suggestion. The plastic spikes work too.

Almost perfect!
I live in the mountains of North Carolina and there is almost no level area around my home. Using a ladder for painting, cleaning gutters is always a constant challenge. I recently purchased the Levelizer and have to say it makes a hudge difference for me. I am always very cautious when it comes to heights and ladders but this really did help provide a stable and level surface for the ladder and that put me at ease when up high on the ladder. This is sturdy, lightweight with a surface that really helps that ladder pads grip and reduce the chance of slipping. The only negative I found is that the spikes only go about two inches into the ground. Another inch or two would be better in my opinion. Other than that I think this was well worth the money!

I was shocked to hear while on the job, my brother would have to look around job sites for rocks or pieces of wood to stabilize his ladder when the ground was uneven. He is pretty picky about his tools and equipment so I had no idea what he would think about The Levelizer. Much to my surprise, he loves it! He even sent a pic today showing me the product in action. I could not be happier. When The Levelizer showed up on my doorstep I was very surprised how solid it felt. I love the fact that my brother can hang it right on his ladder so it is convenient. Most importantly we can all breathe a little easier knowing he is safe on the job! This is a quality product and I would recommend it to anyone.

ok for smooth surfaces
this is ok for smooth-surfaced slopes such as pavement or very smooth ground. But but because it is flat on the bottom with small and thin rubber pads, it seems of limited ability to provide firm footing on terrain with any amount of irregularity. In contrast, the Pivit tool is significantly better for firm footing on irregular ground, since it is not flat on the bottom and instead has feet with heavier duty rubber grips -- so it can accommodate some irregularity in between the feet. Plus it is wider, for more stability, and also can accommodate steeper slope. I own both and I would compare Levelizer to a Honda Civic and Pivit to a Land Rover. It depends on your needs, and of course the Levelizer costs ony about a third as much.

A Ladder Game-Changer
This product is amazing! It works great on slopes, and with the included stakes to keep it secure and the grip top, Iโve always felt completely safe using a ladder with it. Definitely a must-have for anyone working on uneven ground.

Great product
Bought this after looking at other options that attach to the ladder. I used it last weekend it worked great. Made the ladder very stable. Has two removable stakes for added traction in soil. Highly recommended.

The grip tape on the top of the product ripped in seconds of the first use. I will be sending it back.
