Love the F A Hand Deprimer!!
The Hand Deprimer is another fine product from Frankford Arsenal. It is really well made, top of the line materials and construction!. It works well and is much easier than using my decapping die in my press. What can I say, I have also purchased their Case Tumbler, Scale and Case Prep Center. Ever product is really well made. Well done Frankford Arsenal!

Great quality, easy to use and very sturdy. I would highly recommend if you reload
This is a great product for reloading. It's simple to use, works fast and not only looks sturdy but feels it also. I've used it now for two years. Either pop out the spent primers into the garage or use the sturdy plastic tube to catch them. You literally can use it in the livingroom watching TV. It's a quiet and clean way to deprime your brass before cleaning or after to size the brass. Great to have next to the reloading counter incase you need to quickly get a primer out that's not seated well without having to put it through the resizing die again

Efficient enough, good price, works as it should!
Read through all the reviews regarding this product. Received it today and deprimed a few hundred rounds each of 45 acp and 9mm luger with no issues. I can see how the primer catch tube might be an issue popping out if worn, mine fit pretty snug. During use I checked occassionally to make sure it wasnt about to pop loose and spill, and I never found it about to do so. This is a total manual piece, from insering the shell, to squeezing the lever operated depriming mechanism, to removing the shell by hand once deprimed, It does work as advertized though and seems to be well built and sturdy. I believe the weak link will turn out to be the collets, as they are rubber/plastic parts that I am pretty sure are going to wear with use. 3 collets come with it, and the pieces are not impressive, pretty disappointed at their build quality; that being said the unit worked as advertized on the brass Ive deprimed thus far. I didnt experience any decapping pin sticking in small primer holes, no issues there. The Lee Precision Pin 90783 presumably works with this unit and I ordered one to go with it as a back up. This unit works well or off the press depriming and after a few rounds it actually is pretty efficient and quick. The operating mechanisms of this unit are smooth and tolerances decent enough that I have confidence in the unit for its intended purposes. I hope replacement bushings are available, I am sure they would be. The instructions are ok, they do the job. Overall pleased. Frankford Arsenal is putting out cost effective products for the lower budgeted end user, I have several products from them, and they thus far all work as they should with no abnormal compromises; vebratory tumbler, media separator/tumbler, digital scale, loading blocks. I am giving this 5 stars not because it is a top of the line product, but because it is fairly well built, priced right, and operates as it should.

Nicely done Frankford Arsenal.
Let's talk about the scale itself before I delve in. The scale itself has a wonderful subtle blue LCD screen. The numbers are crisp and don't have any signs of screen burn. The buttons are easy to press and the unit itself is very intuitive. It doesn't take much to figure out how to properly use the features. The calibration process is very simple, unlike the Dillon terminator scale. The AC adapter works nicely and the port into the scale doesn't allow any wobble. Now... The weighing itself...(relating to reloading ammo). I have a micrometer drop on an XL650. The variance is minimal and the standard deviation (with proper testing) averages to about 3 or 4 with 10 rounds. I can weigh each drop 3 times and get 3 different answers. To test, I have two powder pans. After the first weigh, I will transfer powder pan 1 contents into powder pan 2, and then back into powder pan 1 to retest, ensuring no powder drops. Both readings MAY be different, or they MAY be the same. It's pretty much a gamble. I use Autocomp, so the powder itself is pretty dense, but that shouldn't cause variance in separate weighing of the same drop. The weight difference is usually about +/- 0.1gr, but that could mean the difference between making major or minor at a big match. Granted, I don't try to hit exactly 165PF, but some of you may. My blaster is efficient at around 172-173PF (7.4 / 7.5gr), so it's not too big of a deal for me...but to others, it could cost you the match. Anyway, my experience with this scale is pretty good. I retest my drop every 800 rounds (1 batch for me) and the scale does its job. I don't use it for weighing metals, food, liquids, or any of that. This is strictly for reloading powders, and I would say to go ahead and buy this. Would I buy it again if my first one broke? Absolutely.

Very Good Tools
This is a beautiful depriming tool. Sturdy, but lightweight, easy on the hand, and it just always works. Always. I like my bench in the garage, but I also like being warm in the house with the TV. As for the scale, which I also bought, after it was calibrated, it is accurate to within what looks like .0025, as far as I can tell... which is plenty safe and accurate for my use as a verification of volume dispensed smokeless powder Both tools are worth the money. I just deprimed 300 cases watching the first half of the Sunday Night Football game without having to take my eyes off the TV.

I received my Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series Precision Scale ,earlier than expected. Set up and calibrated it right away and began loading hand gun rounds. I checked for accuracy of the Frankfort Arsenal scale against my Dillon balance beam scale with perfect results. After reading in another review about the scale creeping when weight was left for a while, I left 4.2gr of powder in the pan on the scale over night with no change in the numbers. I've been reloading for a few years and wanted a good quality digital scale ,so after much research I settled on this one with no regrets. I would recommend this for any one who is looking for a really accurate digital scale.

This works excellent. You can easily set it for whatever you're depriming, with the obvious exception of Berdan primed casings. Pointing it down lets the casing fall out, which makes the job a bit faster.
