Kaplan GED Test 2016 Strategies, Practice, and Review: Online + Book (Kaplan Test Prep)

Bought this for my mom, as she has about 3 months to get her GED. This is a comprehensive study guide, as she uses this when studying for all of the GED sections: math, science, verbal, and social studies. She has found it to be very helpful, as she has been out of school for literally 35 years. Her weakest area is the math, and this has been a great resource because it gives examples and lots of actual GED test style problems. I wanted her to have lots of exposure to word problems, geometry, fractions, percents, algebra, etc. because these are the types of problems that you'll see on the math section. Also, it is the 2016 version, so it is up-to-date with the current GED standard. It is her GED bible. Update: this was a great resource for her when she wasn't at my house getting math lessons from me. I would tutor her on the weekends, and then she would go home and work out of this book during the week. She took the test and passed it the first time, and she is definitely not a math person. I highly recommend this book.

Easy to understand

This book is perfect and much more than I had expected! This book includes lesson plans and two practice tests so that you are learning concepts and problem solving while becoming a successful test taker! Perfect. The book was soft cover and the pages bend easily but it's only meant to be used this year, so it doesn't bother me much. I'm just very happy about the context inside the book and that it arrived so soon!

Perfect for my cousin. She passed her GED

This heavy text is chocked full of information about what the test covers as well as strategies for doing well on the exam. If you are looking for a single source to get prepared, this would make an excellent choice. There are several sample tests with answer keys, so you can take each section of the test multiple times to self-assess before you waste time and money taking the real test. The vast amount of information and tools make this an excellent value for the price.

I'm just gonna say this really truly helps with learning everything you need to learn for the GED test I bought several different books but was waste of money.once I bought the kaplan ged book i was Pleasantly surprised and it was reasonabley priced and easy to understand i loved that I purchased this kaplan ged book I would definitely say for anyone trying to get their Ged get this book it really does help

I purchased this as an aid to help my daughter I'm homeschooling become better prepared for the series of exams I'll be requiring her to complete in order for her to earn her h.s. diploma. Shipping was super fast and the book seems to have a vast array of educational information, as well as online practice tests I plan to have her take to prep her for her final exams.

If it weren’t for this book I would have not been able to grab my GED!!! The information is accurate to the real test!! The sections and lessons are very well put together for self studying!!! Covers everything you need to know for test, and has helpful hints!!!
