I used the 75lbs best to train for firefighting. You can run in it but it hurts the back after a mile with it bouncing around. Easily adjust for wear and weight removal. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good value for the money BUT.... *by K***N on June 23, 2023* So I bought this with some hesitation since it's my first time buying a weighted vest and description wasn't overly clear if it did or did not come with weights. On the plus side YES the vest DOES come with weights, the vest feels well constructed, attaches to your body tightly and securely, and due to lots of velcro and thick straps this vest could easily be adjusted for larger or smaller body sizes. Is it worth the $35 I spent, absolutely 100% YES. Now the negative. The weights (which are like little sand bags) are inserted on the inside of the vest against your body which means if you tighten the vest these mini sand bags sort of poke into you. Not the end of the world, but honestly seems like an odd design (I did review pictures and that's the way it's designed). Secondly there are hooks on the front and sides of the vest and I honestly have zero idea what those are for or why they are there? But the biggest negative for me is that the vest is somewhat hot and leaves an odor on my shirt after wearing the vest. I'm not sure if the odor is from the sand bags that are against my body or from the vest itself but each time I wear it I have to change my shirt since honestly my shirt stinks badly after and if wear the vest for more than 30 minutes I'm starting to sweat where the vest is since the vest is hot and not very breathable. I am hoping this odor will diminish over time. If you're new to buying a weighted vest I would honestly 100% say it's worth the $35. However, if you're willing to do a little research and spend a little more money I am sure there are other options out there where the weights don't poke you, the vest does not have an odor, and is the vest is more breathable.
