It works but the connection can be lost at some angles
I use this to connect to my Logi wireless mouse and keyboard through a USB hub. The mouse and the keyboard stopped working and I figured that the placement of the hub changed, which caused the connection lost. I would still use it and just avoid moving the hub.

Not durable
I used this successfully to connect my mini dock to my laptop. After about 9 months, the connector ripped out of the plastic casing one day when I tried to remove it and obviously was ruined from there on. I will be looking at other more durable elbows in the future. For the price you pay, it's not unexpected that it would be so cheaply made.

Changes angle of laptop cable and keeps it from sticking straight out from the side port.
This tiny adapter was sooo needed! My laptop is on a stand and with the cable now connecting at a 90 degree angle instead of straight into the side port, the cable is not pulling from where the docking station had to be located.
