you shouldn't ask for a durability rating on new products. It is nice to get parts for a 24 year old truck that the manufacturer doesn't support, and made out of flimsy plastic to begin with. This item as a perfect fit and finish for the original 98-2004 Chev/GMS S-10/Sonoma trucks. Though it's just trim, it is instrumental in keeping water out of the tailgate latch handle area, and holding the latch handle in proper positioning for operation. Keeps your vintage truck from looking like a piece of junk.

Just like other reviews said, it simply pops into place and looks like the original. It fits a ‘95 S10 4.3l base.

it's direct fitment to the tailgate handle just need to be careful with installation, you have to do it in the right way otherwise you could break it
