Is it made out of a hard EVA? I just bought a different one that's cardboard covered with thin nylon material. :(

I don't know if it's EVA or not as I cant see what's under the fabric cover.... and am not a plastics expert. However, it does not appear to be cardboard as it seems to hold it's shape and be resilient against moderate crushing pressure. Cardboard would act differently as this product does. My guess is it's probably some sort of nylon shell, or polyethylene. It protects the Bose speaker well. Worth noting also... is the fit is a bit loose. It snugs up pretty well if the Bose Mini is also encased in it's own durable plastic protective case. ( probably a semi flexible blend of nylon ). Otherwise, without this on the speaker, it rattles around inside the Eco-Fused Carry case. The durable plastic case mentioned is available from Bose for $25, or 3rd party manufacturers for about $8. I've bought both for several of these speakers I own, and can't tell the difference between them. You'll be much happier using both together. Some manufacturers off them both "bundled" together. Another similar case I've purchased is made by an outfit called "Regoo". I like it better than the Eco Fused ( tighter fit. But haven't been able to find another one since purchasing the first one on Amazon. If u can't find it, the Eco-Fused will do the job when used with the speaker cover. Hope all that helps ! : )K

If it fits snug with the tpu cover on, then how does it fit without a tpu cover. does in bounce around inside?

I don't have mine in a tpu case and it seems to fit. I don't feel any movement. This is a great travel case.

does this soundlink case have a strong odor or smell like many of the others have that are for sale on here

I bought Eco Fused 2 cases and don't recall them having any particular strong odor to them. However, I didn't think the Eco Fused case fits the Bose Soundlink Mini as well an another brand I had purchased previously. ( Raegoo Case - if u can find one ). The Eco Fused case held the Bose speaker a little loose. However, when used with a protective cover ( available from BOSE for $25 or elsewhere on Amazon about $8 ) the speaker will fit in the zippered case more snugly. I have purchased 3 of these speakers for myself and as gifts & would highly recommend getting both a cover and a case to best protect your speaker. Good Luck ! : )Kurt

Happy with my purchase

Excellent case. Exceeded my expectations. My Soundlink and the accessories fit perfectly. Seems to be made quite well and provides the protection I was looking for. I really like the extra flap which covers the top of the Soundlink and protects the surface from the accessories stored in the cover. would definitely purchase this item again. It sure beats the high cost of the factory Bose case.

Great profuct

We have not traveled yet with the case but it seems very sturdy and we do not have any intention of carrying by wrist straps. I know it will protect in a suitcase and think I will order one for my brother. It came as expected and a great price

Fits perfectly.

I love this case as it holds the speaker and all the accessories perfectly. No need to go searching all over to find the charger or cables. Everything is in one convenient place. I searched around a lot on Amazon and I took a chance on this one, glad I did. If you like me where you love to protect your stuff and have everything organized, then purchase this.

The mesh inner sleeve is great for storing the Bose speaker power supply cord

I bought the Eco-Fused Carry Case as a birthday present for our 13 year old son and he loves it. The case is very durable, has a strong and robust zipper and a padded inner protective liner. The mesh inner sleeve is great for storing the Bose speaker power supply cord. The detachable wrist strap comes in handy and can protect against inadvertent loss. It's very easy to wipe clean, all my son uses is a lightly damp cloth. I highly recommend the case.

Bose Speaker plus charging dock and charging cable fit really perfectly into the case and you could store a few USB's and SD cards if you wanted to in the upper pouch.Keeps the speaker protected and makes it is to transport
