redi shade roller brackets
so far these are great. very easy to install. serving its purpose. I hope the adhesive holds in the hot and humid summer months. Really like the product so far. If the adhesive holds, I will not be installing anymore metal roller shade brackets. I'll be installing these. anything to avoid using a hammer.

These made my bathroom perfect!
in 2023, I decided that I'd like to try a roller shade in order to reclaim space in the bathroom of my rental apartment taken up by the drippy, mildew-attracting, bulky shower curtains. Couldn't drill, of course, and found these while looking for waterproof temporary shades. I bought a DIY roller shade from HD (I measured VERY carefully, as I figured it would need to be a touch longer than usual, since the pressure of the pins against these brackets would help keep them up, I reasoned), washed the spot I wanted them at with some rubbing alcohol (SOP for Command strips), bought these, DIY'd a valance, mounted these and waited 24 hours for the grip to increase to its max (again, SOP for Command strips), mounted the valance with some of that nano sticky tape, put up the shade, and, for the next year, my bathroom's shower shade was marveled at by everyone who saw it. I LOVED it! I did end up getting some book ends to keep the shade from blowing out of the tub (since I hate the look of those corner thingies they sell to do that with shower curtains), but they make me laugh and have become a feature. Now I've moved across the hall, took down everything (thank you Command strips) and am about to put it back up in the new bathroom--I came back here to look at the directions again to make sure I install them correctly. The Command bathroom strips aren't as wide as the original strips that the brackets come with, but I'm going to give it a try and if it doesn't work, I'll just order more of these. Great product, helped me get exactly what I wanted in my home!

They work!
Very nifty product. Takes the place of traditional mounting. No tools necessary. Easy. Breezy.

Sudden failure can occur
Adhesive is weak. Brackets were installed exactly as directed and 2 loosened and fell completely off window frame, nearly damaging roller shade. Once they fail (or are removed by pulling tab), they can't be reused! Too unreliable to be of use.

Easy to use
Easy to apply and use.

4 nails and 2 metal brackets are much more dependable
The depth of the plastic rendered my shade impossible to put up. I used a shorter shade from a different window. I opened the shade. One of the brackets fell off. So I had to take off the other one. Which was very difficult and took off some of the finish of my window frame when I got it off. Easy to install, not easy to use or get off.

These work
Ingenious design make a job I Usually hate much easier, but be care when placing them as adhesive loses strength if you have to move or replace it

Time Saver
So much easier than the brackets that come with roller blinds and you can save some holes in your window casings.
