First off, a warning: do not do what I did! Make sure the wand is turned to the off setting before turning on the water. I neglected to do this, and sent a very powerful spray of water across my bathroom into the wall, window, curtains, and my new roll of tp. On the plus side, I was deeply impressed that the water pressure on this sucker is that strong, to shoot across an entire room and soak half the bathroom in a matter of seconds it took until my panicked husband and I could figure out how to turn it off! I groom dogs regularly out of my home, and needed something with good, strong spray power. This is it. On a big dog, with lots of coat, a few passes penetrates that coat and soaks the dog quickly. On a small dog or a dog with a short or thin coat, one slow pass will do the entire first soak. It’s amazing. It washes out dirt, plant life, and whatever other greasy grimies the dogs might have in their coats and gets them quickly prepped for shampooing. Once shampooed, it efficiently removes the shampoo and conditioner with ease and minimal scrubbing and hand squeegee work needed with other rinse tools I’ve used. It’s an easy install, it sprays powerfully, really my only complaint is that off is not really off- as stated in many other reviews. I actually almost didn’t buy this because of that issue, but in retrospect I’m glad I did. Yes, it’s a little annoying, but the flow on the off setting is light enough that it doesn’t cause undue mess as long as you keep it in the tub or a bucket. It’s certainly something the manufacturer should consider fixing eventually, but for my purposes, it’s an acceptable flaw. All in all a great little tool for bathing dogs. Cuts wash time in half. The dogs like it as much as they’re going to, and it does the job.

My dogs absolutely love it!!! Large pattern for my beagle and smaller for my miniature daschaund. Stores away easily or you can keep it in line with a shower head. Installation was a breeze. A quality product!!

Great for dogs with 2 coats. Bought because professional dog wash left residue on our GSD's undercoat. Our pup is much happier and less scratching. He now enjoys his at home showers. Hose is long enough. Water can penetrate both coats to cleanse and rinse his skin. Highly recommend.

This attachment is AWESOME! Our miniature schnauzer really likes it! It washes out all of the shampoo and gets him CLEAN!

When I opened the box I was surprised that the parts are all plastic. I was expecting something more robust with the WaterPik name branded on it. Instructions are coated to make them water proof which is handy. I decided to connect this to a water hose outside. This comes with both adaptors for inside shower attachment or outside hose. I was still skeptical. I cornered one of my dogs and began the rinsing of his coat. My dog 🐕 did not have any problems with the water flow like he does with the water hose garden sprayer. The attachment made quick work of washing and rinsing my dog. Attachment is lightweight which is helpful when washing a large dog. I did drop the attachment on the concrete, no damage. I recommend having a bucket available with a heavy object inside like a brick or fill with some water to set the attachment in when not using. I did detach and take all parts in garage for storage, I did not want to chance sun damage. It would be nice if the description and instructions were consistent and not deceptive. The "off" is not really off, it is a slow flow of water. Changing between flow settings would have been easier if the grooves were deeper and textured plastic. There are only 3 flow settings. Not sure why the instructions indicate that the flow speed can be controlled by moving the flow control slowly. There is "off", one short line dispense, one short double line dispense, and one long double line dispense. And if I did not turn until I heard the "click" , the flow control setting would back itself down to the previous selection. I do not think I will use this for my Chihuahuas, attachment is large and may look threatening to them-they are rescues and skittish. Overall it is a solid purchase and I look forward to washing the large breed dogs with it.

Stop reading and just buy it. It’s hard to believe I washed the dog without this handy water pik. Setup was a breeze. Although there is hardware to make it a permanent attachment, it’s better for us to attach when it’s needed. I easily hand tightened to the shower and had no leaks. Being able to shut off at the handle was very convenient. The drip setting is almost worthless and it would be nice if it were a little stronger. I kept it on the regular/standard setting and it worked great.

I live in an apartment and going to the dog wash station is far away. This has been a GAME CHANGER for me. It took me only a few minutes to change the out the shower head and put in this interchange piece. They do recommend pipe tape to seal the water hose but I just give it one more nice screw and haven't seen any water leakage. I have a beagle so washing him does not take long, and it truly only took 5 minutes top for him to be washed. The water pressure is AMAZING and you can change the pressure to be less if you're dog does not like it. Truly a great device! Now, i'll enjoy bathing my dog.

Don't even waste your money or time on other products, spend the extra and buy the waterpik for washing your dog. I will admit I was very hesitant spending this amount for a dog wash wand, but after my palm style quick connection failed, I bought another one and it failed right out of the box. So I said enough, and got the waterpik. My only regret is not buying it first. The versatility of this wand, the two different patterns and the ability to dial down the pressure makes this a perfect tool. The pressure penetrated my GSD coat with ease and washed away the soap with no problems. I would highly recommend this product and would certainly buy again! FYI, it comes with a lifetime warranty for defects for the orginal purchaser, so print off the receipt and register the product.

My dogs just love it. The shower is not harsh on the coat of the dogs in fact very gentle so that the dogs can actually enjoy it.
