Easy pressure adjusting screw. Fits most common water pumps as well as the well pump (submersible pump) between 0.3HP and 3HP. It provides dry run protection. The controller will shut the pump down when the pump runs dry. Review: wiring - To answer a question here on wiring I've simply looked at my existing installation. Remove four screws on the front panel to reveal the wiring to the electronics. You see two sets of three wires - the top three are the 240v mains supply - from the top to bottom they are LIVE/brown or L1 then NEUTRAL/blue then earth/green. The bottom three go to the pump, starting at EARTH then U (eg brown) and finally V (eg blue). Note that N or neutral is connected internally to V. The device switches the power to terminal U. Thus if you wanted to override the Katsu you can connect L1 to U and your pump will operate uncontrolled.
Review: OK when defective pressure gauge is replaced - Works well but cannot be commissioned properly until a replacement pressure gauge is fitted

**Q: It works with 12v power or must be with 220v?**
A: The contact rating is 220v AC. It should work fine with 12v dc. Much as a 220v light switch could be used to switch 12v.

**Q: What does the screw cap look like on the opposite side of the gauge?**
A: The gauge can be fitted on either side, a screw seals the hole on the other side to the gauge.

A: It’s not a pump. It’s a controller. What it does is switch on the pump when the pressure drops, and switches it off when water stops flowing and the pressure builds up.

**Q: Why doesn't this pump controller come with some sort of mounting bracket.**
A: It is mounted on the pump directly & sits on top of the pump.
