What do use it for?
Used this to oil our teak chopping board, worked fab. Having read a lot about Teak Oil, Tung Oil, Edible Mineral Oil and a load of others I was just 100% confabulated. So having read that Paraffin Liquid was the same as Light Mineral Oil I decided to give it a go. This bottle is 150mm and the chopping board was so in need of oiling that it soaked up half the bottle! The way it soaked into the end grain was really impressive almost expected it to leak out of the other end. There was some slight puddling on the surface when I left it but next day it was all soaked in and easy to handle. Quick rub down with some med sand paper followed by a wash and it's as good as new, well almost. I have no idea how often I'll do this, it's the first time I've done it in ten years. If I remember I'll update this when I oil the board again. Swift delivery, after answering the queries as to why I wanted this product and had I used it before. Must admit I didn't say it was for oiling my chopping board, I wasn't sure how that would be interpreted! I never like paying more for postage than for the item but our local pharmacys didn't have it in, too old fashioned maybe and not as much profit as the modern solutions. In the end the postage is cheaper than running around looking for it.
