Whats the differences between styles.. pc/multiplatform ps4 and xbox?

Amazon really needs to make reviews and these answers for questions for 7 different headset models in SEPARATE places so people don't get confused and told the wrong information about a headset model that they are asking about, but ALL the people who own the Steelseries 9/Arctis 1/etc will all get notifications and reply under the same thread....one guy is asking about "if you want to use these on Xbox.." he is referring to Steelseries 9X (which just like the Turtle Beach Stealth 600/700 Gen2 they all use Microsofts proprietary wireless chip so when you turn on your Steelseries 9X It not only automatically connects to your Xbox but can also turn the whole console and TV on just by turning your (9X headset or Turtle beach Stealth 600/700 Gen 2 for Xbox) on.but then the Steelseries 9 are wireless for PC/PS4/PS5...but not Xbox...but I think the guy below him Is actually asking about the Arctis 1 or even the Arctis 7+

To answer the original posters question, you can use any headset on here on any console if the headset has a 3.5mm jack for using it wired to your Controller...but if you want a pair to use  with Xbox AND want to be able to use Bluetooth at the same time to game and chat completely wireless...and answer phone calls/listen to music/watch YouTube videos and hear the sound from both devices at the same time then those require models like Steelseries 9X, which can be used on ANY DEVICE technically...but as far as just using wirelessly then they would only work wirelessly for Xbox. Otherwise you'd want the Steelseries 9 model for PC/PS4 /PS5.

How do you use this with a docked Nintendo Switch?

I play the Switch as a portable, there is an included USB-C Wi-Fi dongle.  To use it while docked, there is an included USB that connects the dongle to one of the USB ports on the side of the dock.  I can confirm that these headphones connect to the Switch effortlessly and are absolutely fabulous... Very directional when playing Fortnite, for instance.  I kept thinking my kittens were knocking things off text table (they aren't allowed up there, of course).  Also, these are VERY comfortable and allow you to hear what is going on around you though it is muted somewhat.  The sound is phenomenal and I am very happy with the sound and quality.

So if my computer has only usb a, will i be able to use this without buying any additional adaptors?

The difference between the versions is merely aesthetic. They both work with all usb-c compatible platforms. PS4, Swtch, PC, and Android phones (all tested by this customer with the PS version of the Arctis 1 wireless).
