I love it
Top of the line amp best of the Yamaha line for a pre amp It does take time to work in sounds better every day Clear clean sound Best amp I have ever heard Oh and love the VU meters lol 2 year warranty Fill out the registration card.....

This one's a keeper
Guys, it's hard for me to describe how much I love this amp.....superb scale and body, wonderful clarity and smooth as silk. Bass, midrange, treble and vocals blend beautifully into holographic sound stage. Instrument placement and vocals are life like. It's the heart of my system streaming TIDAL music and TV through Bluesound NODE Icon to Bowers and Wilkins 805D4 speakers and REL subwoofer. And, it's stunning in silver with beautiful meters and classic design. I can't imagine ever letting it go.....it's that good.

Clarity and lots of Bass

Nice cosmetics (still new)
Very heavy 55lbs I put on kitchen table then slid table to stand. I had my left a speaker paralleled to another speaker, amp got really hot I figured it was drawing 4 Ohmes, did that for three or four nights did not stop working but got really hot. Not a good idea from past experience. Also got much more sound after ordering RCA cables for active subwoofer and connecting to Pre out.

Understated, excellent, old school
This is an end game amp for me. I may upgrade DACS or streamers but this unit “will see me on out” as my grandmother used to say. I’m sure the a-s1200 and a-s2200 are all but indistinguishable sonically, but I am through worrying about what might be better or worse. One unexpected benefit is that I no longer need the dual subwoofers I was using... the bass from the 3200 makes them unnecessary. Audiophiles seem drawn to boutique brand items with ridiculous names like Valhalla Diamond Extreme Mk II or Magnum Nirvana Cosmos Iridium. They can keep their silly sounding hardware and keep looking down on the pedestrian sounding Yamaha all they want. I will be busy listening to music through a very fine amplifier for. The nest decade or so.
