A good scratch feed mix; I use it for my pigeons.
I take care of a few to several flocks of pigeons, in town, so I go through bags of seeds fairly quickly. Purchasing larger grains for them helps ensure that they’re getting the proper nutrition, since I’ve read that regular bird seed is mostly fats, and they’re reportedly less digestible than grains that are larger and better suited for them. That being the case, my birds really like this bag of scratch feed, and they gobble it up in a hurry, when I come out and feed them. The feeding process feels more compassionate towards the birds, since they don’t have to spend so much time and effort in pecking at smaller seeds, and I even feel like they’re getting full quicker, with me ending up spending less on this bag of feed, compared to the price of regular bird seed. I recommend this scratch feed for your poultry birds, and pigeons are classified as poultry, at that. They’ll love it!
