HydraMed Forte Eye Drops 10ml

These were recommended by my optometrist. Also told to stop using drops prescribed by G.P. These are available in normal and forte strength. That is, the volume of Hyaluronic Acid - I prefer the forte. Two main points, the HA stops sore, tired and dry eyes quickly and safely. Second point is that the other active ingredient is a long chain polymer and aids the HA in covering the eye surface for longer, amongst other things. Debris is removed from tear ducts and the lack of any preservatives is SERIOUSLY beneficial to eye health. In about one month of usage of the lower dose, my Cornea which thankfully is thicker than normal, has been stabilised and the effects of preservatives in the doctor prescribed drops has been reversed. I am lucky, they could have become permanent. My eyes have problems. Mother was blind. Strangely, all the floaters and squiggly lines which were the bane of my life seem to have gone. I don't know but think these drops have helped here too. I used to sit in darkness until those and pain dissipation but no more. Admittedly I have started to take 4000IU of Vit D3, K2- MK7, and recently Zinc Dyglutonate; Magnesium Complex and Vit E with Tocotrienols (cheap supplements usually only have Tocophols) . I'm not saying that these must be taken only making full disclosure. As the Eye Drops were used for some months prior, it is possible that they stopped my floaters. They certainly helped me with dry eyes . There are other products without preservative but thus far I have not found any including HydraMed's TS-Polysaccheride. The individual vials are good but the 10mL bottle lasts 3 months. It's such a tiny drop you use. Mine is both eyes , daily and before bed. Latter is important. I hope that this helps someone.

I have had keratoconus for about 35 years. Rgp lenses were great until 18 months ago. Then I developed dry eye syndrome. My corneas have been scarred for many years but rgp lenses meant I could have good vision. Dry eye syndrome eventually made it impossible to wear rgp lenses. Glasses can't help you see much when your cornea is scarred/ coned. These eye drops have helped me to wear improved rgp lenses again. Alongside a great optometrist. I can see well again

These were recommended for my dry eye condition by my optician and they provide a good level of relief and hydration.

Yes great drops, though wish they had a pump system like other drops

Was recommended these eye drops for dry eye. So much better than the 0.2% drops. Felt the difference immediately. Down side is dropper mechanism isn’t as efficient as other drops.
