I believe this was the best toy of the year two thousand sixteen two thousand seventeen around there.And it stands true, these are absolutely fantastic.I got anyway.Two sets from my friend's kids.They were the ages of 4 to 8 years old, and they had an absolute blast.And I felt them, I touched them.They felt well made and they're still playing with them.A year later, so I highly recommend it well made, and the kids had a blast

This is the 2nd one of these and it didnt last very long. I used this one twice and It wont charge anymore. Its too bad I didnt know this because after the first one stopped working I was not that concerned but now the 2nd one stopped. Update...after my review the company got in touch with me and is working things out. They are very responsive and understanding. My 6 yr old grandson loves this.

So my 6 year old son has been enamored with drones for awhile. We have picked up a few cheap ones over the last few months. The first one we got disappeared over the fence within 5 minutes of bringing it home. Oops. The next one broke all its spare propellers in the first day and refused to fly properly after that. The next one we got had protection around the propellers but was still a bit complicated to maneuver with its remote and the battery never seemed to last very long. And then came SCOOT. I picked up two of these for both my 6yo son & 4yo daughter. I stashed them away for Christmas and hoped they would be as cool as they looked in the promotional videos. OH MY GOSSSSHHHHH, they totally were!!! Both kids were occupied with them for hours. The battery life was decent for a drone and charge time was super fast. I LOVE how the whole drone is contained within a little "cage" that fully protects the propellers from getting damaged. My son thought it was fun to crash his over and over again--but the little thing took the beating like a champ and kept on going. I like that the plastic "gives" a little so that it tends to absorb bumps and falls without being damaged. The paint seems to be pretty sturdy also and has not chipped at all. My daughter was more careful with her drone and it flies just as well as her brothers. Her drone, however, has a habit of coming apart on occasion. The top half of the drone attaches to the bottom with little teeth. It's not a big deal to fix - just a little super glue or tape is enough to keep the 2 halves together. My only complaint is that they are a bit loud. I know that most drones, minus the $$$$ professional ones, tend to have a bit of a buzz to them. I didn't mind it at first but after a long stressful day I had to tell the kids to put them away because the sound was giving me a headache. The noise, however, is definitely not something that would prevent me from purchasing one of these in the future... it's simply par for the course with entry-level drones and it is a worthwhile compromise for as awesome as these little things are!! I would totally give this 5 solid stars if it were a bit quieter and if my daughter's drone cage didn't come apart so easily. I'm still confident giving this two very enthusiastic thumbs up and HIGHLY recommend it for younger kids. My 4 & 6 year olds had no trouble figuring them out. What a cool concept!!

Thus drone is a lot of fun. My kids charges it up and as soon as its ready plays until the batteries die again. We enjoying playing with the drone as well.

Defunct. Defective. Disappointing. I was really looking forward to the day this would be delivered, I needed it stat for time sensitive purposes, and then it finally came. Awesome, right? So I got it unboxed, thoroughly read the directions, cautions, etc., and set about getting it started. What a fool I was. I want you to know I tried over and over, and then over and over again just for good measure. After spending like hour trying to get it to respond (I know, I should have accepted it was a dud way sooner but, as they say, hope springs eternal) in any way, shape, or form, it convulsed and veered sideways like it was bound and determined to earn a DUI in the same way one would be to earn a diploma. Then at last! It rose! Yay! No, no yay; nay. Nay all the way. Jingle all the nay. This thing flew up so fast into the air, it was as though it was trying to catch up with God before he turned the sign hanging on his Ma & Pop shop door from open to closed. Did he make it? No, poor little fella fell and he fell hard back to earth. God slammed that door in his face, guess the man’s a stickler for keeping to his official business hours. I really don’t understand how this could fail so badly and fall so violently. Buzz Lightyear couldn’t actually fly, but he made peace with that and declared he was ‘falling with style’ as he soared through the air with Woody clutched in his arms. This thing doesn’t even fall with style. Had this been what they lay all their faith in to make one last, desperate Hail Mary Pass at catching up with the moving van. Well, Andy, I’m sorry, son. The USS Enterprise must have doubled back and good ol’ Scotty must’ve beamed space boy straight back up. Mission aborted. As for Woody, well, he probably got taken out by that snake in his boot, who’d have guessed it was highly venomous. Never saw that one coming. You can probably tell by now I’m attempting to use humor to make up for this irritating disappointment, granted rather poorly. And also to distract myself from the boredom I had intended to cure with this little doohickey. And also distract myself from the palpable disappointment of the three this had been ultimately intended for. Just - sigh, before you buy this (which I recommend you don’t, but if you do anyway), explore aaaaall the other options on Amazon. Seriously, all of them, because anything is better than this. I’m going to return to searching for a drone that’s actually functional and will hopefully arrive soon enough to still beat the deadline I needed this for. Wish me luck on my tedious enterprise. Bought 2 for grandsons for Christmas. 1 works fine 1 will turn on but won't fly. Just drops to the ground. Propellers will not come on. Lights flash but no flight. Charged overnight. Still does not function.

This is so much fun when it works. It belongs to my 6 year old but her 13 year old brother has just as much fun with it as she does. The first one broke after several indoor uses. The next never broke, she lost it flying it outside (much more fun), it went up to high and landed out of site. Ordered a 3rd and it wouldn’t work but they exchanged it right away. This one works for a few minutes and then has to sit for a bit and then will fly again, maybe the motor gets too hot? It’s easy enough for a 6 year old to fly it on her own. After leaving this review the company sent us another one and followed up after to make sure we were satisfied

Did not fly or hover at all. Lots of noise, sounded and looked like it wanted to take off but just fell to the ground. Weight was not balanced, would not stay level and flipped upside down with every attempt. Waste of money

Feels very cheap for what it is, certainly not worth the $45 I paid for it. Only lasts 5 minutes per charge and has stopped working after minimal use within the first week of the kids having it. I wouldn't recommend this product unless you only pay $5-$10 for it.
