Infiniti Owners...BUY THIS. Such an amazing device that works! Read my review...
One of the most exciting purchases I have ever made and let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. I wish I found this device much sooner. Not only have I dreamt of having a Bluetooth audio media connection between my phone and my Infiniti but I am so sick and tired of using a 3.5mm auxiliary cable...and I have had to cycle through many of those cables since they deteriorate over time. This is literally the ultimate solution for your Infiniti G35 sedan. I have a 2008 Infiniti G35x Sedan with just the premium package installed. It has a Bluetooth connection but it is exclusive for placing and receiving phone calls. I am going to tell you step by step as to how you will be able to install this properly if you have a car like mine. This is a product you want to buy if your car is devoid of a Bluetooth audio media connection; a connection that links to your phone or multimedia device with Bluetooth (iPad, Android phone, whatever). If you want to wirelessly stream your Spotify, Apple Music, or even your entire audio device output via a Bluetooth signal to your car AND display the track title, artist and album meta tag data on your car's head unit AND use your steering wheel controls to manipulate playback...this is the product that you need to purchase. I can't say 100% if this will work for your car but I can 100% say that it will work for a 2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan like mine. I will talk about how you can install it if you have a car like mine. Before purchasing this, make sure you have: The iPod connector from Infiniti (Make sure you have an OEM one) that secures inside your armrest compartment's iPod connector A Micro USB cable (Micro..not mini) CableJive dockStubz+ 30-pin Charge Converter https://www.amazon.com/CableJive-dockStubz-Converter-Functionality-Accessories/dp/B003TJR2HS USB Car charger Make sure you have all of these items. You need the converter from CableJive because the iPod connector from the armrest will not be able to supply a sufficient amount of power to the CarPro product that you will be purchasing. You plug in the iPod connector from Infiniti into the armrest compartment's iPod input port, then the end of that cable goes into the CableJive converter...then you plugin a USB car charger into the car lighter and connect a Micro USB cable into it and the other end of the cable goes into the CableJive's MicroUSB port on the side...and then finally the CarPro gets plugged in through the CableJive converter. Tuck all of this away into your armrest compartment and go to your car's head unit and hit the "Disc" button until your iPod connection is initialized. While it is initializing, go on your Settings for your phone and go to the Bluetooth screen to add a device, you will see Headset or CarPro and the PIN you enter is 0000. Once it is paired with your CarPro, you're golden. If your phone is already paired to your Infiniti's car phone Bluetooth, your phone will intelligently and simultaneously establish a connection between both your car's Bluetooth and your new CarPro Bluetooth module. When a call comes through and you pick it up, music is automatically paused for the duration of the phone call and then the car will pick up the song where it left off as soon as the call has ended. I'm telling you that this product is a miracle.

2006 BMW X5
Got this product delivered for free the very next day last Saturday using Amazon Prime since I could not contain myself for wanting a similar product for a few years now after I stumbled upon this product on Amazon accidentally. My car has Bluetooth function for phone calls and Navigation but does not have music streaming capabilities. I had gotten a BMW iPod interface installed a few years back which was a big upgrade at the time considering my car still has a factory installed tape deck - wow ancient! But, over time the inconvenience of syncing the music library on the iPod got a bit old. Coolstream provides the perfect solution to be able to stream whatever music source you want however you want via the iPhone (6). This device is a reasonable and affordable solution to updating the Bluetooth music streaming capabilities in your car. Setup was a breeze. Connection is very intuitive if your are even marginally technically savvy. You get a follow up email from the manufacturer to make sure everything is Ok and offering to help if need be though I doubt you'll need it. The only con that probably has to do more with the technology in my car than the product it does not show the artist's /song/album name on the car display, but a minor inconvenience to such superb alternative instead the song is just labeled as a random sequenced track number. Hey! Now cell phone screens are big enough to compete with car displays. So, I don't think I'm missing out on anything of significance. Overall great product! If you need one - get it! You won't be disappointed. Music/Phone calls/Navigation now all work perfectly in the car.

Worked in a BMW and a Lexus
We have successfully used this CoolStream CarPro adapter in a 2007 BMW and a 2008 Lexus. It sounds way better than any bluetooth-to-radio adapter. For us, it's well worth the money to get the best possible sound from our phones into these older cars that don't have an AUX input. This adapter can be quirky sometimes, but if you're willing to put up with that (and I question whether or not the alternative products for bluetooth-to-ipod connection would be any better, because this kind of adapter is a hack, not something that was originally intended). Tips on getting the adapter to work: In the BMW, we needed to switch to the CD input to connect to the adapter. And we had to eject all the CDs in order to access the adapter interface. Once there were no CDs inserted, the adapter showed up on the CD info screen. (We had to call CoolStream for guidance on this, and they were helpful.) In the Lexus, the adapter shows up under SAT radio. (It's funny to see how the random high-digit track numbers that appear on the Lexus display, like 5432, 12345). We've done road trips in the Lexus and the adapter has worked steadily the whole trip. Very occasionally we would have adapter trouble. Adapter troubleshooting: When the adapter stopped working, these are steps that worked for us: turn off bluetooth in phone for 10 seconds, turn it back on, pair to CarPro again, if that doesn't fix it, try rebooting your phone, last solution, turn the car off, wait at least 10 seconds and turn car on again. FYI: If you try and pause the music on your phone, you will probably find as we did, that the music will resume playing again after a few seconds. It can be comical but annoying how the music doesn't want to stop. For some reason, the iPod interface in the car doesn't like pause. The solution? Turn off your radio. That will always stop it :)

It Works GREAT in my Infiniti G37x Coupe with Bose/Nav!!
Works great in my 2009 Infiniti G37X Coupe with Bose/Nav system. I have been looking for and experimenting with many bluetooth connections in an effort to get my Android phone (LG V20) to truly work handsfree for my music playback. None of the solutions, until now, have allowed me to use the steering wheel controls to control my music. It works with both my LG V20 and iPhone 4. Pairing was easy, and it will repair with the most recently connected device whenever I start the car up and launch my default music player (Amazon Prime Unlimited). The steering wheel controls work with both my phones but the song tags only work with the iPhone. The tags for Android show up as 123/Prev. Not a biggie for me as I was primarily looking for a way to control playback without having to touch the phone. If I want to switch phones, I turn off the bluetooth on one of the devices and repair with the other and it then takes over as the default. I will probably stick with my Android device as my primary device as I only use the iPhone now as a music player. Sound quality is excellent - much better than other BT devices that I have tried in the past and on par with connecting via cable thru the aux inputs. There does not seem to be any audio interference from the motor and other equipment. My phone still connects independently to the cars hands free phone without any issues and the music pauses during calls. For the 2009 G37, you WILL need to buy the separate power adapter as the Infiniti iPod cable DOES NOT supply power. So far, I am very pleased! David

Good Low-Cost Solution for Bluetooth Audio Streaming
I got this for my 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman. Before getting this adapter, bluetooth audio streaming was strangely only an option for phone calls and for certain apps (like Google Maps), but not for other apps like TuneIn Radio or Hoopla. I had purchased a very expensive new BMW Y cable from the Mini dealer to use with my iPhone 6+, and it worked great for ALL audio streaming (and even allowed me to flip through songs using the buttons on my steering wheel). Because the cable was so short, however, it forced me to constantly have to take my eyes off the road and look down if I wanted to see my phone screen (a huge safety issue). Now, I still had the older BMW Y cable that the car came with, which was also extremely short, that I used with my older iPhone... So I decided to experiment with this adapter to see if it would work for my needs. It did work, and it worked perfectly, and now my very expensive newer BMW Y cable is obsolete. I can now mount my iPhone 6+ up high on my windshield and audio stream everything via bluetooth using my older BMW Y cable + this adapter. It was very easy to pair and there is no loss of pairing, after having paired it the first time, even after stopping and restarting the car or even unplugging the device entirely. Unfortunately, I can't flip through songs using the buttons on my steering wheel and, of course, having a phone mounted on your windshield isn't as nice looking as having a built-in Mini Connected display right on your dashboard... But this is a good low-cost alternative to straight up buying a new Mini. (Note: I had asked the Mini dealer how much it would cost to add Mini Connected to an older Mini, and was told that it was so cost-prohibitive in terms of labor costs that it would not be worth it.) I am very impressed with this little adapter and would love to help beta-test any future iterations of this product or any new, similar products.

Claims to work on Victory motorcycle radios. Does not stay paired.
The documentation claims it will work with all Victory radios. I bought the proper accessory cable to connect it to my 2008 Victory Vision. I get the blue light, indicating it's on. I then set the radio to AUX and turn on BlueTooth on my Pixel 4XL running Android 11. The device is listed as an unpaired bluetooth device on my phone, but my phone will never successfully communicate with the device. I then tried a second device, using my fairly new Google Pixel Slate tablet. Same process. The unit appears to cnnect on the tablet, I hear the beep over the bike speakers, but then the unit immediately disconnects, then cycles over and over, connecting, beeping and then disconnecting from the tablet. Not sure if it is a compatibility lie or just not compatible with newer Android OS builds, but it's getting returned as it is worthless to me.

and this CoolStream device works great. It plugs into the factory y-cable with one ...
I have a 2008 335i convertible with iDrive and an iphone 5, and this CoolStream device works great. It plugs into the factory y-cable with one of the older 30 pin connections. Once you pair it to your iphone, it works just like having an iphone hooked up directly, and even a little better. You can scroll through your playlists, artists, etc., using iDrive just like you would if it were connected directly. In addition, it will also play any other audio that you can play on your iphone, such as youtube. You can watch a video and play the audio through the car speakers. Apple Music works great if you have a subscription. You can add songs to playlists and you can access them through iDrive (they will stream... you don't need to download). In addition, you can just go to Apple Music on your phone and play from there if you prefer. Likewise for pandora, or whatever other streaming music you prefer. The devices charges while plugged in and the sound is great. Your iphone can be connected to this device via bluetooth and to the car's bluetooth so you can still receive and make calls. If a call comes in while you are playing music, it will pause and connect the call through bluetooth. Coolstream has another similar device not made specifically for the BMW that is less than half the price. I have that too and it works well, it just doesn't display via iDrive, otherwise it works the same.

2015 Cooper Countryman and it works perfectly! Love this thing!
This adapter is amazing. For some very silly reason, my MINI Cooper Countryman (2015) did not come with bluetooth streaming. I came across this product a few weeks ago and was debating on it, and I finally pulled the trigger on it. Let me just say, this has been a game changer for my car. Connection was a complete breeze. I mean, it takes like 10 seconds. Turn bluetooth on within your phone settings (Iphone 6s Plus in for me), connect to this dongle in your phone's bluetooth settings, and you are done. It will detect all music on your phone and will work with your steering wheel controls and radio displays. I am an Apple Music user, and this streams all my downloaded playlists perfectly. I absolutely love it. Not to mention, it auto connects each time I come back to my car. Just turn the car on, flip the radio to the "ipod" setting, and your jams are right there. Simply awesome!

Works for 2010 Ford FG Falcon MK1!
Initially bought this as I saw it was listed as compatible for 2008 FG F6 on the Coolstream website and was hoping that steering controls would work as well although there was no mention of it. I'm delighted to report that not only does bluetooth streaming work flawlessly but steering control works as well with my Note 9 using Google Play including phone calls via car bluetooth and Torque app all connected simultaneously to the one phone. the only thing it doesn't do with android is show playlists or show track info such as track name and artist, etc as the original Ford iPod connection is strictly for Apple devices. I've no doubt an iPhone will work and show playlists on the Ford ICC if I was to connect one to the CarPro. Although pricey, I'm really glad I found this little gadget as it has essentially made the iPod functionality in my car useful again well after the old iPod kicked the bucket
