Must have over stock!!
Had glock night sights on there before when I replaced the plastic factory sights. But always missed the factory style sights. Always hated that they were plastic. Then by chance I find that they are made in steel. Best sights!! You can see it next to each other.

Polymer sights suck.
Steel is better than the crappy stock polymer sight, and the real reason I bought it was for my son’s gen 5 19 because Glock stripped the polymer stocker at the factory and let it go out the door that way. He prefers the bigger white dot of the steel sight post anyhow, worked out for the better.

Huge improvement over the plastic front. Not recommended for the Glock 44 plastic slide.
This sight does exactly what it should do: it is a drop in replacement for the factory plastic fronts that tend to deform or wear down over time. The dot is crisp. The "tang" of the sight is somewhat loose, like most Glock aftermarket steel sights, so you need to carefully align the sight with the slide's long axis to ensure alignment with the rear. Also, red loctite is a must when installing, both on the screw threads and the sight tang/slide interface. I would not recommend using these in the Glock 44, since I think that a steel sight is more likely to damage the plastic slide if it is struck. Theoretical, but my opinion.
