After a couple of hours of pushing buttons I figured out how pretty much everything works. I typed up what I learned as a set of instructions and posted them at [...]I did this work with a portable power supply and haven't had a chance to try the camera in my car yet. After I figured out how to use the camera, it seemed fairly straight forward and the video seemed to be quite sharp.UPDATE:I used it in my car for about a week and it stopped working. The screen just stayed black. Even when it was “working”, when the camera turned on, it displayed an error message that said, “No TF card detected. Please insert TF card!” I always had to turn the camera off and back on again to get it to detect the card.It seemed like a nice little unit. I hope the bad one I got was just a fluke.I sent the dash cam back. The return through Amazon went very smoothly.About a week later I bought a “REXING HD18 Car Dash Cam Dual Camera Lens”.
