Ensure your sprinkler head remains functional with this donut-shaped sprinkler guard. The innovative design fits most pop-up sprinkler heads, preventing grass from growing over them. Designed to last, the guard is made of a durable, heavy duty plastic. Review: Room for improvement - I bought these, but then I got some metal yard stakes and some mortar mix. Get a sprinkler and shove it through the hole from the top. Then spray the sprinkler body with cooking oil to help release it later. Pour in your mortar mixture, then place your yard stakes in them. Set out in the sun for a day then pop out the sprinkler body. You might need to take a file or something to widen the bottom of the hole a little, so it sits evenly on top of your sprinkler. Review: Plastic sprinklers guard - I still havenโt been installed, but they look good

So so
I had so much hope for this product at the beginning. When it arrived and I saw it was only a shell, thought about filling it with concrete. However I decided to used it anyway. It didnโt hold up although I donโt think a car drove over it based on thelocation of the break. Will use it as a mold to pour in concrete!

Easy and durable.
If you have a problem with grass growing over your sprinklers, these definitely work to prevent that. All I had to do was pull up the grass right around the sprinkler heads and press these into the ground. They've held up to foot traffic, weed eaters, and the harsh sun in my back yard. They're cheap and do what I was wanting, so no complaints.

Won't Stay In Ground
I bought these to protect/identify my sprinkler heads. Fairly easy to install. The problem is that when the sprinkler heads first come on, the water first pours out of the sprinkler head until sufficient pressure builds up for the sprinklers to reach their full range. The water fills the cavity of these "guards" and they float up and then get in the way. Concept behind the guards sounds reasonable but you are better off with the concrete ones from the home improvement stores.

Great product that won't break the bank
These sprinkler protectors fit perfectly around my sprinklers and lay flat. They're much less expensive than the cement versions and get the job done offering protection from the lawn mower wheels.

Flimsy
Works as intended but very cheap and thin plastic. Not sure how long they will last.
