Prep + Prime Lip, 0.05 Ounce

My new holy grail lip primer!! I have tried every lip primer on the market and returned all of them! I saw this primer on a YouTube video and decided to give it a try. My issue is lipliner bleeding into the “smokers lines” above my top lip. Nothing I’ve tried before worked. Not even a little bit! I used this primer this morning. I applied it on my lips and above my top lip line before liner and lipstick. I work as a Hairstylist and don’t have time to reapply my lip combo during the day. Not only did this product prolong the wear of my lip combo, but it kept my lips hydrated. For the first time ever, no bleeding into the lines above my lip! I’m so excited!! Thank you MAC for making such a superior product!!! I’m beyond grateful!!!

Very good product. Goes on smooth. Helps,keep lipstick or gloss on for a longer time. If you line it around the lip area it will help with feathering. Highly recommend.

Love the MAC lip primer...it goes on easily, smoothly and has a delicate, non-cloying fragrance. It keeps my lipstick from bleeding throughout the day! Wonderful product and will order again!

Works to keep my lipstick in place for many hours. Not sure why this is called the Plum series. It’s not plum, the same clear product, and costs more???? Consumers being taken advantage of, less for more.

I'm not well-versed in makeup at all, I probably know less than the average makeup-wearer my age. To me, this product worked fine. I had no allergic reaction or any negative experiences with it. It was like putting on chapstick without putting on chapstick so that my lips had a better base for lipstick and I believe that's exactly what it's for. I haven't tried other similar products so I have no comparisons. Feel free to kindly educate me if I'm wrong lol, always willing to learn more about makeup.

I’ve used this lip primer for 10 years and it’s one of my most favorite beauty products. I use it under matte liquid lipsticks and my lips never feel dry when I remove the lipstick. It also helps other lipsticks to stay on better. I even wear it alone, instead of chapstick, because it stays on and my lips feel so much better with it on. It’s a tiny bit tacky at first, but it dries smooth. I’m obsessed with it.

I had a lot of issues with dry, peeling lips and color that did not stay put - UNTIL I FOUND MAC PREP & PRIME. This has cured all my lip woes - I even use this at night because it keeps my lips soft and supple like nothing has in YEARS. It also keeps my lip color in place and natural looking. This is one of those rare products that if I were stranded on a desert island with only a few basics, I would HAVE to have this lip primer with me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This feels very good on your lips. Is hydrating. It keeps your lips moisturized and lipstick always feels good. That said it does not help your lipstick last any longer than it would without it, which was the reason I bought this this. I like it I use it every day. I probably won’t buy it again.
