I purchased to repair the soap dispenser part for a pressure washer that broke off minutes after turning on. It wasn't the correct size so I ordered the next size.

Used to run hose from a cooler to my cold plunge. Works perfectly upon initial installation and refill. No leaks.

Lost one! It was to equalize the water levels between two pens!

I originally bought these to use as water bulkheads for an RV build. I ended up buying another part because I was worried that these may be too lightly built for the location I needed. However, these appear to be reasonably priced and decent for lighter duty applications so I'm keeping them in my parts bin for future use.

I was making a recirculating disappearing-fountain birdbath and wanted the hose to pass thru the bottom of the birdbath bowl. I needed some way to make that pass-through water-tight so water would collect in the bowl. Tried various caulks and plumber's putty but nothing worked. This was exactly what I needed. Took me a while to find these though b/c, while I could visualize exactly what I needed, I had no idea what these things were called. One of the disadvantages of shopping online is you have to know the NAME of what you're looking for. You can't just describe to a helpful salesperson what it is you're trying to do and ASK them to make a recommendation.

Nut style is different than the other plastic. It fits but it's a completely different style, white plastic vs clear plastic. Not what is shown in the image.

Thought these would be perfect but not quite. You cannot overturn at all, even by hand, or the threads go and you can't tighten it. I used 5 on a 5 gallon bucket for gravity hydroponics system and it has leaks, will have to use a little glue to fix. You might just want to glue anyway so they don't come loose. I have a 1/2" inner diameter hose and am using it with the 1/2" barb, but need to use zip ties with the house. You might be able to get away with a 3/8" house and just heat it up to get it on. Wish I could find 1/2" bulkhead fittings like this 5 packs but just slightly better, more durable quality.
