Works great -- the only thing I'd want is...
...more than one fast-charging port. All the ports charge, but if you're trying to fast charge more than just one phone, you have to wait your turn. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Problem solver
Great little hub. You can plug in everything with this one.

Works well enough for an overequipped PS4.
I'm an avid gamer, spending (too much) time gaming on my PS4 and Nintendo Switch. I have a second generation PS4 (not a Pro model) and as time has gone on, I've added a fair amount of equipment to it, specifically electronics. Said electronics are an external hard drive, some PC fans OR a portable cordless fan, a keyboard dongle, and the PS4's controller (because the battery life is abysmal). Those that use equipment like this will realize everything I listed uses USB ports for power and communication. For a time I used an AmazonBasics passive USB splitter, mostly to power the keyboard dongle and the 5 volts power USB plug for my hard drive and it worked well. But as I left my controller plugged in more often and started using fans to cool the PS4's PSU, the splitter started failing. I decided to go with a powered USB hub and got this. I chose this hub because all but one of the AmazonBasics products I've ordered have been of excellent quality, and as I said, it works well enough, though not as well as I expected. This hub comes with a 4 amp transformer (wall plug) so I figured it would output plenty of current. Trouble is, since this hub has so many ports, all of them seem to receive a fixed amount of current. This means that this hub barely manages to charge my PS4's controller, though on the flipside, it charges the cordless fan I use for cooling. I also haven't gotten any warnings about my hard drive disconnecting (meaning it's not getting enough current supplied to it) which leads me to believe that the hub is satisfying the hard drive's power requirements. Since the USB hub isn't fed from my PS4 (that would put me back at square one) I can't attach my keyboard dongle. But, the PS4 has two USB A ports which is enough; One for the dongle and the other for the communications plug for the hard drive, which leaves the hub free for simply powering devices. I may have been better off simply buying a hub with fewer ports, though I did read that said hubs come with lower powered transformers, which again is why I chose this one. Maybe a hub that features individual switching would work more efficiently for my needs, but I digress; Again, this hub is working well enough for my gaming needs and I'd recommend it to anyone that needs consistent USB power. I've not used this on a PC but given that it's working well for my PS4, I see no reason why it wouldn't work great for a PC and for devices that not only receive power from the hub but communicate to and from the hub as well.

Good stuff
Does the job at a good price

Only temporary use. Ports stop working soon after
I had for about a year before some of the port started going out. It’s been a few years now and it is officially completely worthless because none of the ports work.

If it sounds good to you, that's because it is
Good price. I like that the power source is separate from the USB connection. cord length works for me. 10 ports is extra, for me, but it definitely beats not having enough, or unplugging things all the time.

Flakey connection
I like the thin design, and because it is powered, I don't have to worry that plugging in another device will cause an already plugged in device to stop working. It also means that I can charge devices on this hub without draining power from my PC. In general, the hub works well. I can connect a bunch of things to it and they work. I like that there are so many ports on the hub. I originally bought a 5 port hub, but quickly ran out of space! Only two of those ports are high speed (USB 3), but that works okay for me, as I use the ports for lights, mouse pointers or USB sticks that are slower anyway. I like that there are no switches on the hub. My big problem with the hub is that it uses a micro usb connector, rather than have the cable just part of the hub. This connector is very unreliable. A slight touch to the cable and it disconnects. This is not so bad when I use it to connect earphones, keyboard or a mouse, since I can just jiggle the cable to get them reconnected again. But I cannot connect any storage to the hub, since those don't like to be unexpectedly disconnected. I do actually have storage devices attached to the hub, but I have to keep the hub well isolated, away from me, lest I nudge the hub and lose the connections and maybe corrupt the storage device.

Exactly what I needed to handle my streaming setup
It works great the USB cord that comes with it is very sturdy and thick which is good and also not, it's taken a whole for the cord to loosen up enough so it's not sticking straight out into the air but i also know that cord is gonna last forever. No delay detected on any of my devices and i have my headset's Bluetooth dongle, my mic, my two LED lamps, and my mouse all plugged in and everything is chugging along just fine. The case itself feels delicate but I've legitimately dropped the hub a few time and have had 0 problems. The only thing i would suggest is make sure you don't put it too close to the edge of your desk
