However there are a couple details that need updates in the post necessary to avoid installation problems.First, the pictures could use updates. The current product has a hole in the base so the cord can be fed into it and connected to a junction box. This is great for a clean install. However there is no protective grommet provided (likely would be required for UL certification). So if you adjust the length of the cord frequently, or if a kid pulls hard on it, the cord may abrade (and possibly could short) on the metal edges if care is not taken. This is not a concern for me, but caution (or a grommet retrofitted, or the hole edges filed) is recommended.Dimensions are incomplete. This can be an expensive problem if you have the wrong junction box.. The base is 3.875" wide by 11.75" long. This is too narrow to cover a 4" round junction box or the standard 3.5" remodel boxes my electrician installed (which are about 4.2" diameter depending on brand). Rather than do something goofy, I had my electrician replace my junction boxes with rectangular units, followed by plaster repair and repainting of the wall. If you have basic a 3.5" box, you are in luck. My electrician noted if you are installing a junction box, make sure it will support the weight of the fixture.Following are more dimensions:- Base is 3.875" wide by 11.75" high- Wheel is about 7.5" diameter- Light is about 6.5" high by 4" diameter- Cord is about 3.5' - sufficient for an 18" light hangOne of the reviewers said the screws are silver - that is not the case, proper mounting hardware is included.
